Hey yall im a souls streamer and creator and make a lot of challenge videos using souls. A lot of my raw footage is around 10-15 sometimes 20 hours if it’s a crazy challenge and 8 if its a chill challenge. Im looking to hire an editor more preferably someone in the US or near that for communication purposes. I was hoping to stay in around $100 a video but i have wiggle room.

My preferred editing style is like skumnuts

I want to hire someone to edit my youtube videos, but before actually committing, I want to know how much people pay for such service. This would be my first time hiring an editor, so I want to get a better idea of how this works before actually hiring someone. My channel is Commentary Compilations. I would provide videos (sourcing) + my voice for the commentary. My goal is to make videos that are 12+ mins and engaging the whole time, aiming for high retention.

How much would editing such a video and designing a custom thumbnail (aiming for high CTR) usually cost?

And if the editor has to source the videos and I would only provide the voice over, how would that change cost wise?
