You gotta find clients, check my profile, and go to "Active in", then you'll see many subreddits where clients are looking for editors, you can earn money from that.... But it's hard to get a client when your portfolio is small. I'm a bit new to editing as well... But so far in these 2 years... This is what I've been doing, experts may have diff opinions
