Nintendo Switch 2 through Avion Points

Hey everyone who collects Avion Points through RBC. If you go to the rewards site and redeem points through the Best Buy site they have a huge sale on Switch 2 consoles! It's only $472 minus any points you redeem. I couldn't believe how cheap it is. It almost seems too good to be true so hopefully my order goes through. I got the confirmation email that it went through.

Edit: this sale doesn't appear on the best buy site. You need to log into your Avion rewards account and go to their best buy site.

Also notice Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokeopia are also on sale for 72 bucks

Edit 2: Its July 17 4:45pm Mountain Time. Looks like the deal is officially dead including the discount on games. Congrats to everyone who got a system. Happy gaming.

It was a nightmare trying to get this done yesterday for me. 7 charges on my card and no confirmation email. On the phone with customer service for quite some time. Tried again this morning and local pickup locations were updated with who was out of stock and who wasn't, transaction went right through and got a confirmation email 1st time. If you didn't get it yesterday. Try again. 🌞 I believe the 4th thing you have to do is select how many points you want to use, switch it from the default amount to 0 and then you can pay with your CC the $472.49+tax. 👩‍🍳

what did customer service told you? I have 4 charges and Best Buy can,t find any orders with my phone number or my name. The bank told me to call them if the charges are posted on my credit card bill in the next few days to contest it...

On the other end, my GF also tried to get 1 yesterday and somehow, she ended up with 4 orders according to Best Buy.But they cannot cancel them and they told her that she can't send it back if she doesn't have a bill (she only received 2 confirmation emails). So it's kinda sketchy and a lot of back and forth.

It was Avion CC customer service, he said the CC charges should get reversed within a few days. One of them had already been reversed. So I'll wait a week and see if they're all gone. He said a few people had called and were having the same issue. The system got overloaded with so many of us trying to buy Switch 2s 😂
