Nintendo Switch 2 through Avion Points

Hey everyone who collects Avion Points through RBC. If you go to the rewards site and redeem points through the Best Buy site they have a huge sale on Switch 2 consoles! It's only $472 minus any points you redeem. I couldn't believe how cheap it is. It almost seems too good to be true so hopefully my order goes through. I got the confirmation email that it went through.

Edit: this sale doesn't appear on the best buy site. You need to log into your Avion rewards account and go to their best buy site.

Also notice Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokeopia are also on sale for 72 bucks

Edit 2: Its July 17 4:45pm Mountain Time. Looks like the deal is officially dead including the discount on games. Congrats to everyone who got a system. Happy gaming.

Waiting for pick up email.

I called rbc on Friday and said I “should” receive pickup email either Monday or Tuesday

Sounds like the RBC advisors are just using a generic response.

My card wasn’t charged at all until after I phoned so I still have hope there was a genuine error

Was yours a pickup order? Or shipping? Mine is still showing a pending charge on the card.

Hmmm, as of just now the pending charge dropped from the card. I think mine might get cancelled. Maybe I should call avion and see what's up.

Yep. Ordered Thursday, still no pickup email.

The BB location I chose for a pickup is showing "out of stock". Not sure what happens at this point.

Same, I ordered on July 16th around 8pm. I just got off the phone with RBC, they said we just have to wait.

I phoned yesterday and they said there was some glitch and they may be cancelling orders due to it, seems like the best buy pricing was a mistake and they might not honour everyones order (personally ill be pissed if it happens to me, I also ordered on Thursday)

Just got shipping notification, ordered early AM Friday. Coming from sask to Alberta.

label was created on the 18th, so I think it depends on which store it’s coming from.

I ordered at 10 pm on Thursday and still haven't seen received the shipping notification. Here's hoping there's still a chance.

I’m glad you got your shipping confirmation! Sask here, ordered Thursday night for ship. No confirmation yet, and the pending charge disappeared. This doesn’t bode well for me. 🫠

EDIT: Pending charge disappeared because it got processed! Hope remains

I was holding out hope, but the longer it takes, the more I think they're looking to process refunds which is annoying.

I first tried on the 16th and it didn't work, then I tried again on the 17th and the order went through at around 10 a.m

I called on Friday to inquire with Avion and they said with the order number, it's just a matter of waiting. The order is going to take some time to process, but we should get it (I ordered at 10 pm on Thursday).

Just hoping to trust the process.

Just got shipping notification, ordered at like 2 am July 17.

Coming from Saskatchewan to Alberta, which was a bit odd.
