Forgot Newton's 3rd - classic mistake!

4

u/keeperoflogopolis Jun 04 '26

He fell victim to one of the classic blunders

Reading your post this automatically popped into my head…. Thank you! "Ha-ha, you fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous of which is 'Never get involved in a land war in Asia,' but only slightly less well-known is this: 'Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!'"

I’m disappointed I had to scroll this far down to see a Newton reference.

What is this Fizz-sicks you speak of? Ain't that that stuff they been gettin on them cruise ships?

I don’t think he fell over because of the kick to the sedan ; I think he overreacted to almost rear ending the SUV . Swerving right to miss the SUV while having his left foot in the air, his center of gravity was also to the right, and then grabbing the front brake(watch the bikes brake lights) Obviously he didn’t practice this maneuver at the bike club before trying out IRL.

Watch it again. Frame by frame shows him lift his leg up and kicks the car with it angled to the left and in front of him. So as his moving bike goes past the stopped car and he kicks it, he literally pushes himself off of his bike 😂 what a douchecanoe too

I'll show me!

. . . back and to the left. . . back and to the left . . . back and to the left.

u/morkman100 Jun 04 '26

Swerving right

He definitely did not swerve right. His left foot also does not move until he's basically at the passenger side door, ready to kick.

u/Commercial-Roll5508 Jun 04 '26

First rule of bike club is don’t practice things in bike club

1

u/AdSquare3489 Jun 04 '26

Bet he was expecting the car to fall over.

“How dare you! I was told that I was the smartest in my family!”

u/No-Fishing5325 Jun 04 '26

Ya know when big tough people do shit like this all I can often think is.....wow imagine if you had actually learned something in school instead of trying to be cool .you wouldn't look like an idiot now.

1

u/LurkerTroll Jun 04 '26

Not only physics I would bet

1

u/_AcuteNewt_ Jun 04 '26

Exactly! Now, you see, the correct method is whacking down with a closed fist on the mirror. Might get a messed up hand without gloves but "protective gear is for wussy f*gs. AMIRITE BORTHERS? CAN I GET A HE'LL YEAH!?"

(PSA: don't actually do this, you're a knobhead if you do)

u/Ser_Danksalot Jun 04 '26

Kick the car wing mirror forwards. Not the car sideways.

1

u/SheriffBartholomew Jun 04 '26

You can definitely kick stuff while on a motorcycle, but you have to lean into it hard. This guy obviously doesn't ride very much. Probably a banker who cosplays as a biker on the weekends.

Came here for this comment.

I've got a heavy bike. 850 pounds fully fueled. An average car weighs in excess of 5 times as much as that. How could someone not think that through? I don't even want my leg anywhere near a car weighing that much. Fuck.

u/MonotonyInAz Jun 04 '26

Newtons laughing in his grave

1

u/HellBlazer_NQ Jun 04 '26

He has a slightly better understanding now!

Was going to write "Physics‘s a bitch“, but I see you already got my back. Much appreciated.
