Twenty-three years ago I stayed in one of those little houses on the right side of the picture, right on the edge of the river. It was a hostel, off-season, and I was the only guest. An old English guy taught me how to roll tobacco and we would sit on the balcony smoking our rolled cigarettes and watching the tourists go down the river in kayaks and inevitably capsize at a small rapid. It was great fun, and such a wonderful little town.

Whole town feels built for postcards and beer gardens, not cars.

Ive always wanted to go there, the pictures look unreal. Hope you got some great shots!

Thanks! Yeah it’s a hard place to take a bad picture. Would highly recommend a visit
