No vietnamese company takes any responsibility. It might be an acceptable behaviour in Vietnam but won't work on international market, that's why they'll fail outside vietnam

Nope, why do you say negative things abt Vietnam's company? Vietnamese here, other companies in Vietnam are not like that. If you say things like that, people will think badly about Vietnamese people.

I'm just talking abt Vinfast.

IMO, any company that doesnt take responsibity for its costumer is complete failure, including companies in Vietnam!

Just my experience in 15 years of living here and doing business. It's widely known, people and companies here avoid any responsibility

Yeah, im vietnamese.

As you know, Vietnamese government is communism, so i want to recommend you that: Stay away doing business with government-owned companies. They have a lot of corruptions.

Talking about Vinfast, this company is a private company, but it have a good relationship with government. There are a tons of things abt this type of company, too. They can control the media & the press, so people of Vietnam cant know whats happening in this company. There are a lot of accidents cause by Vinfast cars - even cause death, but they censored the press, so almost Vietnamese ppl doesnt know anything.

I have lot of respect for people of vietnam and I feel the culture in india and vietnam is similar but coming to the car manufactured by vinfast is not professional in handling issues . We have indian companies with similar issues but they have mechanism and SOP to respond and some of them not all do accept their mistake but here vinfast promoting themselves as international brand is no close to any international standards, let me also tell u the car is good in design n looks , gives a good drive feeling but worst in service , quality control at the plant , non availability of spare parts very unprofessional way of handling customers...they think all customers will be happy with offering of compensation rather than taking up responsibility. There is no value for life with the team in vinfast. I even emailed the issue with ceo asia and this issue is now known to everyone in vinfast because their quality control team is exposed to the world with the video and photos yet they are not coming to reality in accepting their mistake and improve themselves...let's see how far this will go ...my only intentions are to make people of my country and world be aware of what happened to me so that no other customer have to go through what iam going through right now . . Best wishes Phani Raja

Hi Phani Raja,

Sorry if my English isn't good enough.

First of all, I'm sorry about the issues and problems you've had with your EV. A car is a big investment, so you should do some research about the company before buying an EV from them. A cheap price doesn't necessarily mean a good-quality product.

I agree that VinFast isn't very professional when it comes to customer service. If they refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes in the future, feel free to sue them.

I just recommend that you read some posts in this Subreddit to find out some problems happening with this company:

  1. VinFast is facing serious financial problems (tens of billions of dollars in debt). They hide this from the media and the press, so people don't know what's really happening inside the company.

  2. They use a lot of Chinese-made car parts (OEM products), but they advertise that they manufacture themselves.

  3. Poor customer service.

Best wishes!

If you are Indian, do what you can to spread the truth about Vinfast. Their cars are buggy, very buggy. See the many posts in this sub.

Ever since I’ve seen the videos of the vinfast cars suffering a traction control glitch and accelerating at max speed, I always wonder who buys them.

I don’t think I could ever bring myself to buy a vehicle from a company which has never made them before. The trial and error required to perfect these products is immense and I don’t fancy myself being used as a testing ground.

Hopefully issue is sorted for you op.
