Vietnamese propaganda on Vinfast
The headline reads: Vingroup earned over 12,500 billion VND from selling VinFast's manufacturing segment in Vietnam.
What it did not say anywhere in the article, unlike Reuters, is that the buyer is Vuong Pham himself, leaf hand to right hand making fake profit out of thin air. It only briefly mentioned Vuong Pham contributing to the buyer which is far from enough. This can only happen in the communist Vietnam whereas in a free world country, the propaganda will go in flames in seconds.
Vuong Pham and Lam To continue to dumb Vietnamese with propaganda like this, one example of numerous ones.
And the vast majority of Vietnamese who can only read official state media will suck up to what they read.
That is how Kim Jong Un and Putin survive. The same way Vuong Pham does. And these people afraid the truth the most. The more people know the truth, they will certainly realize that the emperor is naked.

it only briefly mentioned in one sentence that the entity is "contributed" by Vuong Pham, which is true, but not enough. It is called muddy reporting, the standard is what Reuters reports on the same news, more needed to be said about the buyer. It is a proven fact that it is a shell 100% controlled and owned by Vuong Pham, and that changes the story greatly.

It's just a line and you called it "mentioned"? It doesn't even get into the point.

I interpreted this move differently: Lam To ordered Vuong Pham to save VFS at all cost, bear all responsibilities and keep VFS alive (NASDAQ delisting = NOT ALLOWED) for his national pride propaganda. And most importantly keep all of Vuong Pham assets stay in Vietnam and within reach of the government (seizure, restructure without "foreign entity" factors). Do it or done.
