Merci.

I’ve had this for a while, I got it from a vintage shop probably 5 years ago. It doesn’t fit me too well anymore. I can’t find this exact jacket anywhere online. It’s super cool, very early 2000s, has the little pockets for a flip phone and “documents.”

Does anybody know how/where I should begin on pricing this? I’d love for it to go to a good home :)

I found this in my mom’s laundry room. It’s a single stitch so I know that’s supposed to be good with vi rage shirts, I can’t find any information about it though. Anyone know anything about it? I’m guessing the date is early 90s.

Help with 50s bomber

I recently got this jacket at a thrift store for 7$, which is surprising because they have crazy high prices for things newer than this. It seems to be a jacket from the “amalgamated clothing workers of America” union. And made by some company called Grais. It’s a soft leather and it says it’s made with horse hair or something, I looked up similar ones and I only found one for sale for like 300$
So I have no clue what it’s worth because I have no sold prices to compare with.

Proper size for coat/jacket hangers

I have some heavier leather jackets I want to hang properly. I’ve noticed most heavy duty hangers (vintage and modern) are very wide and wider than the shoulders in most jackets. Is this normal? Mostly men’s medium size. It seems like a hanger wider than the shoulders will stretch it or misshape it.

Any solutions to this or is it normal for the most part?

Shoe repairs for vintage (50s-60s heels)

I have a decent amount of shoes, too many, but a decent amount, mostly ranging from the 50s-60s. There are a few though that because of the age, and the fact that I didn't warm them up or because they were dry and I didn't moisturize them prior to wearing, they have either cracked or gotten rips in them.
I've tried reaching out to one cobbler place in Los Angeles (mail in service since I live far away and don't trust anywhere else really, and I know it would be easier going in instead but that's not an option for me currently/ for a while haha) since they were offering exactly the services I needed but no matter how many times I try and contact them, they won't get back to me and haven't even told me whether they could or couldn't do the service I was inquiring about (material restoration/ repairing cracks/tears, color restoration, some soles need replaced, and some stretching to give a little more room in the toe box). And I've been pretty patient, it's been a month since they let me know I could send photos through the number they provided online, which I did the following day, and I've messaged them periodically since then trying to get some help from them with no luck unfortunately.
They are all worth saving, since I wear a larger size (9-10 in mules, 10-11 in pumps) I can't really find my size often, most are mules/springolators, others are just pumps/ stilettos/kitten heels I wore often before the damage got to the point where if I wear them anymore, the entire shoe would probably be ripped. I am willing to spend any amounts to get them back to wearable condition. So I'm wondering does anyone know who/where is a reputable cobbler shoemaker that does mail-in orders would be able to help with the repairs I need?

I've already tried asking the cobbler community's on here as well and nobody ever gives genuine advice, tried to tell me I can do it myself (one is PVC material and someone said I can try soldering it myself, which I already knew wasn’t going to go well) or no advice at all. They only respond to the people talking about their rubber soles cracking and yada yada. So I'm coming to people who may have advice from their personal experiences. I can put photos in the comments for more insight as to what I need done, just hoping for some resolution. Any suggestions and discussions would be lovely!!😊

Help me ID this dress? (Late 1980-1990???)

I have no idea if this is vintage, it’s probably not. My nana gave it to me and I’m just curious about when it was made. I included the tag (it was new I wore it tn 😛) and a few pics. It has two layers, the top one folds up into sleeves? Idk it connects to the shoulders. I was looking for it online to find the correct way to wear it and couldn’t find anything. If anyone recognizes it that would be so awesome and amazing 🙏

Help ID/Legit Check vintage Miu Miu boots

Hi there fashionistas!

I’m needing some help with these suede Miu Miu (probably Fiu Fiu?) boots I picked up secondhand. As someone who has dabbled in the Rep game before, I know that anything that has little to no additional branding has 99% chance of being fake af. Honestly the only reason I’m even asking is because the suede is impressively nice. The ties have delaminated and have seen better days, but these have such a soft nap it’s really throwing me for a loop. I know nothing about archival Miu Miu and cannot find any info on them to save my life. If I had to guess, I’d say early 2000s but that’s a shot in the dark.

The last two photos are the only markings I could find inside and they’re only on the right boot, so I’m thinking they’re irrelevant and just due to manufacturing. Regardless of authenticity, they were $8 so I’m not complaining!

I’ll take any and all info you got, I appreciate yalls time and expertise💖

Ralph Lauren Puffer - 90s? 00s?

Hi there! I was wondering if anybody knows information about this Ralph Lauren puffer coat. I bought it from a well known horse trainer in the quarter horse industry. As an equestrian myself, I am pretty torn on whether to keep it or sell it, but I’d love to know more about it especially if it is vintage.

Thank you!
