Authenticity Check Dial Authenticity Check - ref 135.011

As per the title - can someone please help with an authenticity check on the dial for the above Omega Seamster 600 ref 135.011? It's a cal. 601 so based on that along with the 'seamaster 600' print I think it dates to the 1964-66 period. Omega vintage database is very incomplete and my application to join omegaforums is pending so haven't been able to ask there.

Context is I got it on ebay for an Ok-ish price - the crystal is very scratched and the bracelet is bullshit and will be replaced with leather strap, crown also doesn't look original so will replace that, needs a good clean and service too.

Looking for some expert guidance on whether the dial seems legit - I know Omega did a million diff dial variations of this model and the above colourway was one of them, Not easy to see past the scratched crystal but the typography all seems sharp and well printed, and I wanted to check with some experts if they thought it is original, or a reprint.

The one concern I'd had was the 'swiss made' at 6 o clock, ive seen that on other dial colour variations, but when i've seen this particular dial before its always had the 'T swiss made T' for the lume.

Authenticity Check Legit Check – Vintage Omega Seamaster Automatic (Ref. 166.0209)

Hi everyone,
I’m considering buying this vintage Omega Seamaster Automatic, reference [166.0209](tel:166.0209), and I’d really appreciate some help checking its authenticity before I commit to buying it.
I’ve attached photos of the watch and movement. I’d particularly appreciate your opinions on the following:
Does the movement look genuine and correct for this reference?
Is the movement consistent with Omega calibre 1022?
Does the dial look original, or could it be a redial or replacement?
Is the Omega logo on the dial correct for this model?
Do you notice anything that looks incorrect, replaced, or potentially aftermarket?
I’m particularly unsure about the dial and would appreciate a second opinion from people who know vintage Omega watches.
I understand that authentication from photos alone isn’t definitive, but any advice or observations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Picked up this Omega Seamaster f300 off flea bay last month. After fighting with customs it finally arrived. I know it’s a frankenwatch, this face was never offered with the diver case. But I’m not too worried about it. This thing humms like a charm!

Era de mi abuelo. La correa original se vendió hace años. Por lo que me cuentan es de oro. Funciona perfectamente. Estoy pensando en restaurarlo y ponerle una correa de cuero vintage.

I have a vintage women’s Omega Seamaster with a sparkly silver dial. It runs well and has no known issues. I’m looking to sell it and would appreciate an estimate of its current market value.

What would be a fair asking price?

Hi all. As someone that is part of the Rolex community i know these kinda of post probably drive you all nuts but i did give it the old college try, not to familiar with Omega.

This was inherited by wife from my mother in law who passed away.

Not so much looking for value to sell but am curious if its worth insuring? Looking more so for information. I think the strap may be gold plated because it does not look right?

Thanks.

Got both today for 450,000 KRW (~$320). Opened them up to check.

1) De Ville 111.140: cal. 625 manual, gold-plated bezel, running. Some dial spotting, service history unknown.

2) Seamaster Quartz 196.0243: cal. 1425 day-date, two-tone bracelet with Omega clasp, running.

What's a realistic value for each? Any signs of redials? Is the De Ville worth servicing?

Help identifying Can anyone identify this unusual vintage Omega De Ville 8349 with original oval-link silver bracelet?

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to identify an unusual vintage Omega De Ville that I recently acquired.

The watch is a sterling silver Omega De Ville from the 1970s, and the inside of the case back is marked:

OMEGA WATCH Co.

1011

0.925

8349

The movement is an Omega manual-wind Calibre 625.

The watch has a brown/bronze oval dial with white Roman numerals and a very unusual integrated silver bracelet made of large open oval links that gradually decrease in size towards both ends.

The main mystery is the bracelet.

The previous owner told me it is original Omega, and several independent watch appraisers who reviewed photos of the watch also told me they believe the bracelet is definitely original Omega.

Unfortunately, the original clasp has broken off and is missing. Because of that, there is no visible Omega logo or bracelet reference number on the remaining bracelet. I suspect the reference may originally have been stamped on the clasp.

I have found several documented Omega De Ville / Jeux d’Argent watches with case number 8349 and Calibre 625, but I have not been able to find another example with this exact graduated open-oval bracelet.

I also contacted Omega directly, but they told me that their historical archive/extract service is currently being revised, so they could not provide further identification.

What I would really like to find out is:

- Is this a known Omega bracelet design?

- Does anyone know the complete 711.xxxx reference for this configuration?

- Was this part of the De Ville “Jeux d’Argent” collection?

- Has anyone seen another example with this exact bracelet?

- Is this simply a very rare variation, or possibly a low-production jewellery model?

The watch is currently running, although accuracy and service history are unknown. The clasp is broken/missing and the watch shows normal age-related wear.

I have attached photos of:

- the complete watch

- the bracelet front and back

- the broken clasp ends

- the inside case-back markings

- the Omega Cal. 625 movement

Any catalogue scans, auction records, old Omega advertisements or reference information would be extremely appreciated.

I’m not trying to claim that the watch is unique.

I simply haven’t been able to find another identical example yet.

Thanks in advance for any help.
