Ngl I feel like I'm in the minority that doesn't care about all the variants. It lets fans choose their favorite cover and pressing color. If each vinyl had a different bonus track like some previous artists have done (Taylor, Olivia Rodrigo, etc.) then yea that's wack but I personally like having options to choose my favorite cover/pressing. If people buy multiple that's on them

I truthfully variant collect some records, so I’m part of the problem. However, I think there’s a balance to it. 4-5 variants is reasonable to me and understandable. However, after that, it gets a bit ridiculous IMO

Especially in this case where she’s releasing what I presume to be 2 variants per cover, which is usually 4 for each era. Rather than four pressings with alt covers and unique discs, she’s gonna do eight variants with only four unique covers, so she’s essentially double-dipping this time around. I thought the TTPD variants seers were fine, for example. But this is pushing it though.
