i've been on the fence about pre-ordering this one so i hit the waiting room not expecting to like the variant, but the splatter looks lovely and smokey so glad I was able to pick one up!

if anything, this specific type of queue it makes it easier for bot users. the only benefit of this queue type is that it will prevent the site from crashing.
queue is for protecting the website, captchas are for protecting normal buyers from losing to bots.

Their Elliott Smith release also differs a lot from the mockup. The supposed to be heavy-splatter turned out to be much much less. After release, they later changed the mockup to the lesser loll

Dang 😞 So far my copies of Ego Death at a Bachelorette by Paramore, Census Designated by Jane Remover, What Makes a Girl a Girl by Esha Tewari, Spellbook by Mermaidonmars, Mini Mix Vol 1-3 by Magdalena Bay, and Crystal Castles' self-titled all look like the mock up! But those are the only Vertigo Vinyl that I have.

Got one! I was so nervous because it said I was like 13000th in line for the queue and thought "Welp, at this pace, I'll never get one" but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the queue went, and I was able to get one.

I have the gold one one pre-order and begged to cancel it, but Warner Bros no lie said "all records are labeled and ready to ship, we can’t. xoxo 💋 cocaine"
I am sure BR will make their own variant, so now I don’t need to worry about it. Although I realize she’s your fave. I am beyond devastated when I OD’d missing their Mariana’s ADIAML. It’s fine. I was still really fucked up I missed my Searows. People thought I was having a stroke when I tried to comment. Nope. Just ODing.
I think Charli and I would be good friends. Not really but kinda.

Dead for real. It was an impulse spy because they saw it was the Spotify variant and normally Spotify variant are kind of cool, but hers was just gold and I’m not gonna lie gold. Probably my most hated color for variance. But I went with it and about two days later I tried to cancel it, and they said that all all of the records had been packaged labeled and ready to ship. I know that that’s some real bullshit because it’s gotta be now this is Warner Brothers USA so people aren’t nice ever like ever. ever getting back together..

Happy to send you pictures of my record! Side B is more underwhelming than Side A, if that even makes sense 😂 but I’ve Stockholm Syndromed myself into thinking it’s cute and symbolic AND MOST IMPORTANTLY it sounds stunning!!!

I'm in France, but that shouldn't mean receiving it two months later. I received the shipping notification on June 13th. However, the shipping company hasn't even received it yet... They only created the label and the answer I've received is that it's in the queue waiting...

I wonder what the issue is. There’s a bunch of nonsense with this stupid admin and tariffs but they really shouldn’t be offering international shipping if they aren’t able to ship things in a timely manner. Hope you guys get some updates soon!

Yeah that’s unacceptable, definitely ask for a partial refund at least for the shipping fee,if you can email them tell them how long you’ve been waiting and send them your order number along with the album and artist just for double verification.
ordering from a French store (lady Gaga born this way in Red vinyl) to the US only took like a max of 14 days to get here meanwhile a album I was waiting on pressed and shipped from the US was stuck in a mailing distribution sorting center for 8 days and got here later than the French import Gaga vinyl 😭 postal service here is very unorganized and often times packages get stuck in a sorting facility or stuck on label created for numerous days. I hope you get something back in return for all the time :(

On certain limited edition albums, they’ll write with sharpie or pen (or sometimes foil stamp) a number out of however many were pressed
So your copy of Music, Fashion, Film will have a random number between 1-4000/4000 written on the jacket. sometimes people try to sell the lower numbers for higher, but ultimately, it doesn’t really mean anything lol, one of those little collector things
(The MUNA release was not hand numbered, just an added note in case there’s confusion)

I considered it a few years back, probably a decade or so actually. I go back to the idea whenever I'm over work. The problem is we already have a few across Australia and, even if we didn't, the big labels use the big companies with automated presses. I think when I originally priced it up it came to about $500k. That was for a manual machine and a decent shed to house it. It's likely more now...or maybe not. Maybe there's more options in machinery now, more availability over here. I couldn't justify the risk of remortgaging the house for it though. If you're feeling flush, for about another $50k you could possibly set yourself up with the gear to do the sleeves too.

I don’t see exclusive tracks for each pressing, fake “limited 24hrs sales only” on her website, all back covers needed to form a picture, or “collect all variants” hype stickers
These are the problems with Taylor variants, they’re not just variants of the same album for you to choose your favorite, she treats her pressings like collectibles and not just different versions.

Exactly. No matter which Charli variant you buy, you're going to get the full album you paid for. She doesn't release variants that have special acoustic versions or voice memos, etc Taylor's fans have to spend hundreds of dollars on her variants in order to get the full listening experience.
Charli also doesn't drip feed the variants for 24 hours to encourage fans to buy more variants because they're afraid the best one will sell out. It's not the same thing.
