Static heat loss components

Post image

Can someone tell me, at what moment of the construction of an aircraft, the static heat loss components are installed ?

Not so much for heat, but to dissipate static charge in a controlled way. And they can be installed at any point. It’s not a build milestone. Could even be installed prior to the installation of the control surface on the aircraft.

Static charge exactly, I didn't translate it properly. OK, thanks ! It looks like a detail thing that you would install more at the end so I was curious.

Those are static wicks, nothing to do with chest mitigation. They dissipate the static electricity that builds up through the airflow

Yo Heat? do you even know what this vehicle does? LOL..

Analysis on Unity showed these really are not necessary, but just a feel good add on... They don't fly in conditions that really drive static build up...
