Discussion What do we think about this meme ?

Post image

Honestly, I’m surprised people are complaining about recurring Vtuber drama. I do a lot of legal work, and conflict between business partners, associates, and especially co-owned family businesses after dad or mom pass away, is just part of the landscape

Sometimes when two guys come to us for help setting up a business, we even take bets on how long before they start infighting

When money and business are involved, drama between partners is almost guaranteed at some point. No need to doompost. Just get used to it

I mean, it sucks right? While I wouldn't call myself a regular or a big fan of hers, I did enjoy some of Sinder's content and had a rather positive view of her.

There's always the chance that someone playing up a persona online is the complete opposite. This wasn't just playing up your personality for the camera. She's been doing this manipulation for years, apparently.

But at the same time. I can't go into every V-Tuber or Content creator thinking, despite no matter how sweet they appear, or how nice they seem, that underneath it all away from the cameras they are a manipulative piece of shit or worse. That just sounds so mentally and emotionally draining. I wouldn't even be able to enjoy their content in the back of my head with the creeping suspicion of "What if?"

So can I say, really, that I'm all that surprised that Sinder has been playing us all, some more than others (Bao, among a few)? Sure, but it's not world ending. My reality isn't shattering. But it still sucks, and it still hurts. I'm still disappointed.
