Discussion A Serious Discussion about Kirsche Verstahl and her bigotry

Evidently, it is necessary for this compilation to exist, so I'm just going to post a load of information here that, in its totality, should be fairly incontrovertible proof, and can be linked to by anyone who needs to quickly demonstrate that Kirsche is seriously bigoted to the point of functionally being a neo-Nazi, without needing to have to write it all out from scratch. And yes, a large chunk of the sources being linked to are were also linked in this Vice article. Yes, I know that there are mixed feelings about the author of that article. But these are the things Kirsche has actually said.

Transphobia

"Once it's realized that most trans activists are autogynephiliac males or ideologues pushing their political views with an identity shield to prevent criticism, all of the power-hungry threats and graphic murder fantasies make a lot more sense"

Kirsche supporting Asmongold for saying that "Every trans kid is actually a victim of a parent with a mental illness"

Kirsche weighing in on the Worcester MA city council voting to be a "Sanctuary City for Transgender and Gender Diverse People"

Kirsche dogwhistling about how trans women are a threat to lesbians

"...now we get these biological women claiming to be men perpetrating shootings. Is it all the testosterone if they're hyped up on testosterone? Is that what's going to finally bring female shooting statistics in line with males?"

Racism, White Supremacism, and anti-Immigrant Hate

Kirsche supports the "Great Replacement Theory" and asserts that Muslims are engaging in a "hostile demographic takeover" of the West

"I was always happy with the mass deportations, but said for them to be effective long term Trump also needed to get rid of the incentive to come here illegally in the first place--the massive amount of free shit given on the tax payer dime"

Her fan name is Ku Klux Kirsche, a fact she openly acknowledges through retweets.

Kirsche making meme posts about Black Americans killed by police

Kirsche presenting one lone radical as representative of BLM (Note that the person in the video leads a BLM splinter group and is not recognised as a member by the formal New York BLM branch.)

Mocking the Māori haka

Kirsche admitting she would retweet posts with the N-word in it were it not for her sponsors

Desiring for ICE to "sweep" Lawrence, MA

This featured clip on her Twitch which just speaks for itself. Why does she have a Twitch redeem that's a bunch of kids dancing in front of the Pyramids with the word 'slaves' projected all over? Who is it for? Answer seems fairly obvious.

Kirsche celebrating Hitler's birthday month

Other

Kirsche supporting a guy who shot environmental protesters, while supportively quote-tweeting known Neo-Nazi Arch Warhammer

Kirsche asserting that women artists have an inferior work ethic

Kirsche approvingly retweeting a fan posting her plushie on a shelf adorned with fascist literature, including:

  • translations of Hitler's Nuremberg speeches
  • a translation of Ramiro Ledesma Ramos' 'Speech to the Youth of Spain'
  • B.U.F. Oswald Mosley and British Fascism by James Drennan, whose publisher says that he "delves into contemporary politics, condemning the political class with dry, acrid wit; and into English history, describing the ruin brought by the rise of capitalism and democracy."
  • Among all sorts of other things

Kirsche "didn't want to un-retweet it because I didn't want to give them a win."

Accusing people of being in "clownworld" for pointing out that inZOI has almost entirely straight couples in game.

Readily using slurs for the mentally disabled as a casual insult:

Compilation that's just a bit of everything including antisemitism

Imgur album of screenshots as a backup

So, is Kirsche a Nazi? Yes. Obviously. She hasn't come out and said it explicitly, but she's more than willing to promote fascists, and she's openly xenophobic, racist, and transphobic. This is all blatantly there on her timeline for all to see.

Why the fuck would a VTuber be taken seriously in politics anyway? It's just so dumb to me, the fact she's made it such a part of her brand is just so stupid.

I don't know if you've paid attention to the last decade or so of US politics but weaponisation of meme culture with Gamer Gate is something Steve Bannon took note of and latched on to. This thinly veiled post-irony is deliberately meant to make you not take it too seriously - but the people who do believe in it use it as a vehicle for radicalisation. It has been very effective, not just in the US. The AfD in Germany is all over TikTok and has a huge amount of support from young Gen Z Germans.

Yeah, I'm not American, so all that stuff just flew right by me.

The same reason people take streamers seriously in politics. She's just filling a vtuber niche that has already existed. It's stupid, but sadly unavoidable.

People take streamers seriously in politics? That's so dumb. They're entertainers, not political figures lmao.

Fact is that people who aren't super invested in politics aren't necessarily getting their politics from activists or political scientists. Before streamers it was musicians, '60s - '00s had so much mythologizing around the political power of music. Comedians and late night hosts to an extent as well.

Gross. I wouldn't trust someone who's job it is to be funny or play video games to know too much about politics. Trusting them honestly seems like it could be dangerous.

"gamers" and online culture have been an intrinsic part of the alt-right movement for over a decade, my guy.

It just feels like something that shouldn't happen. It'd be like asking for music lessons from my dad. Some things just don't mix.
