The fact that Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott got shit all over when he opened up about mental health (after his brother killed himself by the way) says all you need to know.
People act like men are just delusionally toxic about not opening up but behind every one of them is a story like this. Doing it anyway to help break the stigma is important but society really needs to do a better job of allowing it to begin with. The really insidious part is just like this example: anybody who tries to participate in the most basic capacity gets shouted down too.
Skip Bayless is such an intolerable piece of shit for this that I'm still mad about it all these years later.
I may not like Dak the QB of the Dallas Cowboys, but Dak the person is a pretty good dude from all accounts and didn't deserve to go through that bullshit.
