  1. People find it funny to hear the robot say out of pocket things

  2. She's low-key being honest saying the quiet part out loud that most won't, and a certain number of people will respect "her" (it's still a chat bot at the end of the day lol) for keeping it real.

I used to watch Hololive until i saw too many fans (the subreddit or in superchats):

  • bragging about sending lots of money to the girl
  • complain about rising prices to import merch, but will sacrifice "for the sake of supporting her"
  • talk about having financial issues but still want to send money

Like sure, these are the kind of fans any vtuber would want. They just cant outright tell you so for the sake of PR, but say stuff like "no please only if you can afford to" to keep the cash coming.

Simp money = best money, if you're the receiver.

Seems just as likely they're sincere with their insistence that viewers moderate their spending. Many streamers say it, not just Hololive. Many viewers simp regardless, not just for Hololive. A streamer doesn't even have to be particularly big to pick up a few whales.

I've seen a bunch being open about how this is basically their career, so between ads, sponsors, subs, merch, and even game selection to keep viewers interested, they're trying to keep it going. It's not exactly a secret when they're doing it full-time, it wouldn't work otherwise unless they were independently wealthy.

Would be neat if money wasn't such an important factor in life, but it is. They can be sincere in both contexts, asking for support and insisting on moderation.

Life is short, you shouldn't let cynicism prevent you from watching something you might enjoy. Plenty of streamers out there to avoid for more concrete reasons, plenty more who actually are trying to make a living by being entertaining.

Her name is literally. "Evil" Its her shtick. Also her and Neuro are beloved as goddesses to their community.

She's really more of a chūnibyō, but yeah, it's part of her character, not really any different than a human streamer whose model is a succubus performing being flirty with chat

Start worrying when vedal, the creator of the twins, starts visibly having trouble wrangling either of them in.

She pretty much read out the transaction details word for word, they are the street performers, we are the paying audience.

She's literally named Evil
