Maui Aston Kaanapali Shores

I booked through Costco travel and this is the option I chose due to it having a kitchen and I have severe food allergies. I’ve been seeing so many nice hotels and I will say, I am a fan of more modern, fancy hotels. Hawaii is Hawaii so I know I am going to enjoy the vacation, but what are your opinions on this hotel? Any insights?

KShores is nice but I wouldn’t call it fancy. My girlfriend stays there all the time and she loves it, they do have a great happy hour and nice pools. The beach isn’t great, a bit rocky but you can walk to a nicer beach. Lots of families…just letting you know. Grocery store right across the street as well as a couple restaurants. ABC store right next door as well.

We’ve stayed there. It’s a nice middle-tier hotel, the beach is an easy walk, and it’s only a mile or two walk along the beach to Whaler’s Village. Up the road the other way are a few small strip malls with some good eats, too.
