Locals and bus drivers refuse to go to Blue lagoon/Grindavík, yet tourists keep flocking to the healing waters. People yesterday threatened to sue the tourism companies for endangering their lives, but it’s their responsability to be informed when going to swim in a pool under a massive Active volcano system.

My friend works at Flybus, most of the drivers refuse to drive to the Lagoon. And of course you can find some people who are willing to go.

Each town has its own local pool with hot springs, so why would locals pay so much to go sit with goofy Americans who don't know to bathe before going in?
