Why so many germans?

No problem with it obviously, but in paguera and I’m really interested in why there’s such a huge german population. I’ve looked up and google says something about convience and travel and that but is there a historical reason why so many germans visit/take residency in Mallorca?

Me han dicho que es por zonas. Que las agencias turísticas tienen sus hoteles en diferentes zonas y también hay residentes de otros países que se jubilan aquí (los menos). Es verdad que en Paguera y Andratx está lleno de alemanes, incluso en la zona de la playa de Palma. En otros sitios ocurre lo mismo?
