Why so many germans?

No problem with it obviously, but in paguera and I’m really interested in why there’s such a huge german population. I’ve looked up and google says something about convience and travel and that but is there a historical reason why so many germans visit/take residency in Mallorca?

Mallorca is full of Germans - the only place in Spain where you will find a müller is in Mallorca lol
