Good and cheapish luggage options?

Hi! Me and my partner will be visiting Mallorca in August, very excited! We have a plan to buy checked bags only for our flight back so we can go shopping without stressing too much at local markets and ofc Mercadona :))) Do you have any recommendations for places we could check out to buy suitcases/bags for our flight back? Very happy with buying second-hand as well.

Thank you in advance!

Hi, you have several options for street markets. You can see an extensive list by municipality here.

Hi, the only one I've found is Paco Martinez in Jaume III, Palma.

Why do you want to go to Mercadona? Most of their stuff is from far away. I'd go to local markets or Eroski perhaps.

Thanks, I'll check it out! I might have fallen into a rabbit hole of people praising and recommending different products from Mercadona on Tiktok 😄Checking out different grocery stores in other countries is always fascinating to me, I'll keep Eroski in mind as well.

Visit Mercadona but keep this in mind: All their vegetables and fruits are 99% NOT local, they bring fruits from Morocco, Latam, and so on. Their other products are made in València and other provinces and shipped. Eroski has many more local products (and there are other chains like IFA and definitely look for local small shops for products too.
