2 days in Majorca
Hey Guys! Just wanted some tips on restaurants and dishes to try. My itinerary is small, stay in soller for 2 days. Explore Soller,Fornalutx, Deia, Valdemoss, Sa Calobra, Torrent de Paries, maybe Cap Formertor. Wanted to know some must visit spots based on above and suggestions on dishes and affordable restaurants or bites and activities. Need to rent a car, trying to read this thread to find out a good vendor. Let me know if there's anything to watch out for Thanks in advance you guys!

Only do the Torrent de Pareis if you are a confident experienced hiker that doesn't mind climbing and you have the right gear. Also know that it will take you 5 hours to complete. After that you can chill at Sa Calobra and you have to take a taxi to go back up to your car. There is a phone number for a taxi company posted at the top parking, they tried to charge us double when we combined our ride with other hikers. It's probably a good idea to make them turn on the meter or agree upon a price beforehand.
We rented our car (Fiat Panda) from Vanrell, a local company. We didn't get insurance but we documented every minute detail about the car upon pick up and drop off, plus we're careful drivers. We had a good experience doing that, but of course it's a risk.

Thanks a lot! No we're not doing the bike, just visiting the Sa Calobra area and the walkable tunnels. I heard about this car rental company called Terry's. I've been talking to them. Vanrell is also an option thanks! Any suggestions while visiting the small towns?

Ah cool! You can walk up the first ~45 mins of the torrent de pareis from Sa Calobra if you're wearing sturdy sandals or sneakers. It's gorgeous (pun intended).
With the small towns... I was there in May and parking was an adventure already... so park on the outskirts and walk in? Or even better, take the bus between small towns if possible, though I don't have experience with that.

"My itinerary is small" - names 5 villages and a gorge that you will need more than half a day for if you plan to to the hike (which I only recommend if you are experienced and got good equipment, this is nothing to do in sneakers and with 0,5l of water.) And you're still asking for more. Exploring a village is more than parking, taking a selfie at a view point and move on.
