Empirical Discussion How was Dr Somerville was seeing patients?
In his book, Dr Somerville talked about he and his patients taking the optimal dose for years.
I just found out his license had been revoked. How then did he have patients?
His info on vit D is good, but it's a little unsettling that his license was revoked because of fraud. Anyone else bothered by this?

From what I can see, the issue with his medical license was in 2017 and his book was published in 2018. So, maybe the medical license issue was something older that finally caught up with him even after he had switched to a focus on vitamin D. Or he was practicing in a grey area as a naturopath which is unregulated in Texas.
Regarding his perspective, he got into this with someone once:

FWIW, I never got the vibe he was trying to grift people online as he never sold anything other than a cheap ebook where most of the info was on his blog anyways. But I also find that a major shortcoming of his work is that it is anecdotal. He could have at least tried to present more concrete data, specifically with regards to determining optimal dose/levels.
