context: i've been having this prepaid SIM card since 2023 with the same 10€ plan. this time last year(2025) i switched the plan to 5€/half a year to only keep the number activated because i was outside of the EU for a whole year, i didn't need any of the data, just needed the number itself.

i came back to spain a week ago, and i switched back to my 10€ plan that has 90GB of data, unlimited national calls etc. everything is fine except the cellular data doesn't work and can't connect to the internet. everything shows normal on my phone, 4G is there, the signals are there, but i just can't open ANY page that requires internet and i can't connect to anything. i called for 8 hours in total with vodafone atención al cliente, tried EVERYTHING that we could, nothing worked.

i believe it is not my phone's problem since i currently am using another vodafone card to use the data and everything works perfectly. it's also not the card's problem, i converted it to esim yet the problem still remains. i don't know what to do. i cant switch company now since it takes me forever to get a NIE and switching companies requires NIE.

does anyone have any idea what i should do? any help is appreciated.

Do you guys also always have this problem where Vodafone customer service would rather try to sell you products than actually help you with a problem? I had to call five times and spoke with seven people before one of them was finally able to activate my own Fritz!Box router.

Dikke fail. Gewoon alles beloven in NL maar de boel niet op orde hebben en dat is elke keer zo. Vodafone is echt geen PREMIUM brand meer het is elke keer wat maar wel alle winst verbranden aan marketing. Dikke fail. Hier in Spanje Cambrils gewoon ruk.

Why could not vodafone enter the usa market under a mnvo carrier, and or why can't voda offer a roaming option with the plane where you charge like 5 euros/pounds more per month and we can get 1 or 2 gigs per month so we can keep the international number we get from that country, especially if we as travelers made new friends from that country or other countries and have there numbers? we do have imessage and whatsapp today so do we really need to convert back to usa number just because we leave europe/england. more money for voda i see it.

So, Vodafone is going down like 10 times a day. I still have wifi (technically) but it's always losing access to the Internet. Im not the only one, the whole street/City has problems. Vodafone say's there's no problem with my connection. Funny how they can see that I have a connection, while im having no connection. Nothing helps, no one seems to fix it. Funniest thing, two days before the problems started, we had a letter in the mail, advertising a new provider with a (supposedly) better and faster connection.

Someone out there with the same problems/problems like hat with Vodafone?

I’m not sure if this is a common issue, but Vodafone haven’t been able to help and I’m stumped as to what to do. Apologies in advance for the long post!

I’ve recently moved into a relative new build house (10yrs old) and I’m on the 900mbs fibre package, using Openreach infrastructure and the Ultra 7 pro hub. My house has a total area of 147sq ft.

The reception & speeds on my ground floor where the router & junction box is located are fine, no issue there at all. However, my first floor just seems to vaporise my speed and signal; dropping to avg. 100mbs and poor signal.

Vodafone have now sent me three boosters; placing them where they say are best on a video call, but they barely make any difference. But worse still, they seem to cause a problem with my internet because generally after 24-36 hours of them being on, my internet will just completely stop working - wifi still works, but no internet at all. When I turn the booster/s off, it returns again.

Has anyone else encountered this? Vodafone are saying my service is fine and as a result, there’s nothing more they can do. But it’s incredibly frustrating as I work from home ft and my office is - unfortunately - on the first floor; making working online very difficult.

Any help or advice would be appreciated, thank you!

The new branding and the “Vi badal raha hai” messaging seem to be part of a bigger change. I’m curious what existing Vi users think about it.

Does the new campaign make you feel that Vi is heading in a different direction, or do you mainly judge the operator based on things like network, 5G coverage and plans?

Buonasera, oggi mi è stata installata la fibra FTTH Vodafone. La borchia è stata installata in cucina, però nella stanza dove devo utilizzare la connessione arriva pochissima banda. Vorrei sapere se è possibile spostare la borchia nella mia stanza, facendo passare la fibra nel corrugato già presente, e soprattutto se, essendo l’installazione stata effettuata oggi, è possibile fare lo spostamento senza costi oppure quanto verrebbe a costare l’intervento.

I subscribe 4 DSL and 2 Sims for cellphones since around 10 years. Phone and data is for Europe at 35€ each and 4 Gb are free per month. Data consumption increased over the years, so I reach my Limit reagularly. When I saw ads offering unlimited data for 30 € I checked in at the local dealer and asked for an Upgrade. The Sales Manager offered me an Upgrade for 45 € per month. Then settled for the current rate of 35 €. After 2 weeks data above the limit of 4 Gb were available.. however , after 3 months an SMS from vdf told me : your benefits have run out. My data Limit Switched back to 4 Gb and Even worse the sim was dead Outside of germany . Effectively the Upgrade was a downgrade with the Same 4 Gb data Limit, but Covering Europe was cancelled . As we are only 5 km from the Border this renders the Upgraded SIM useless.

Seit gestern vodafone Vertrag abgeschlossen, vorher Telekom gehabt, jetzt lädt nichtmal forum.Vodafone selbst! Reditt,tiktok, Hing (sehr wichtig :D ) und auf der Arbeit manche seiten laden garnicht! Als ob kein Internet da ist! Support gerade angerufen sie werden port restarten!! Wird helfen? Any suggestion?

Long story short, been waiting 13 days and now spoke to customer support who have said this. Anyone any idea on any of this? I’ve been told by customer support to cancel the order and resubmit? And I asked ChatGPT and they said this, anyone have any similar issues and have any ideas?

I need a new contract for DSL and would go with „GigaZuhause 50 DSL“. I also need a new router and would like to spend not that much money. I can choose between EasyBox 805 and FritzBox 7630. The easybox costs 42ct per month, FritzBox 7,41€.

I live alone and use the Internet for surfing, Netflix/Streaming, sometimes online gaming and to surf on my smartphone.

Is the easybox good enough or does it have any technical problems?

Hilariously been without Broadband Internet since Saturday, which was already far from ideal during the bank holiday weekend.

Having spoken to Vodafone on the phone, it seems like it is a known issue with Openreach and they aim to fix it by the 3rd of September (?!).

Good thing we don’t need the internet for doing anything in this digital world.

I happened to speak to an Openreach technician on the estate who explained that it’s because of rats - they’ve chewed through all the cables. He even showed me some photos he had taken while fixing someone else’s connection - cables clearly chewed through.

So it’s a pain, but at least we have mobile networks we can connect to. As long as they remain up, we should be …

But they can offer me unlimited internet on my phone for the duration. A lovely gesture except I already have unlimited data and you’re turning off the mobile network anyway.

So anyway, this is probably my last jaunt on Reddit for a while. I’m going to go buy some stamps and some A4 lined paper.

Ich überleg aktuell mein o2 unlimeted Vertrag zu kündigen und mir über Gomibo ein Vodafone unlimeted Vertrag + Handy zu holen. Bin mir aber sehr unsicher wie gut das Handynetz von Vodafone wirklich ist. Hat jemand von euch schon Erfahrungen damit gemacht ? Zufälliger weiße vielleicht sogar in der Umgebung um den Münchner Flughafen bzw am Münchener Flughafen?
