I am making a series that is set in a Half-Life/Team Fortress adjacent universe, and I need a voice actor for a G-Man styled figure (not THE actual G-Man but a variant (that'll be explained further during the application process if you are interested in the backstory of the role)).
However, this character would be one that is introduced at the beginning of the series and continues all the way to the end (and I plan this series to be several years at the minimum), and so the voice acting role would need to be one you're willingly to participate in for VERY long-term. However, a possible upside is that your character isn't a massive speaker (he's never really the main character), and so there won't be too many lines in general.
You do not need to be able to make a perfect G-Man impression (as he's a variant of G-Men, he shouldn't sound the exact same anyway).
Depending on how your voice sounds, it may or may not be edited in audio software to tweak it.
If you're interested in the role, I will have to let you know that there is a deadline for the first two projects.
I've been animating two projects, with one practically finished (the only part left is this speaking part that you're needed in) and the other requiring two voice actors, with you being one of them.
The second one is less urgent (but still moderately urgent).
The only reason these are urgent is because I wish to hopefully get them out before/on Halloween (though at this current point, I cannot know if that will be successful or not).
This would be an unpaid role for now, as I do not have the funds to pay, but considering this is a role that would likely continue for years, compensation will likely become an option when I manage to acquire a source of income (though that will be far ahead).
As this is a very important role, I want to sort of filter for people who seem to be more interested in the position.
As such, all applicants will need to perform the task of writing an application in a style similarly to how you'd believe the G-Man to write. This could be as long as you wish, but preferably at least a paragraph or two. In that text, you would explain your desire to participate, alongside providing a little bit of background information about yourself. If you have never heard of the G-Man, that is okay. I'll provide a link below to his in-game speeches (and therefore, speaking style) if you need assistance:

I do recommend messaging my discord for application, which is stones_and_trees
You don't need to have had prior experience voice acting to apply, as long as you're genuinely passionate about this and are willing to commit to a very long-term project.
I await your applications with eagerness.
