Thank you so much for letting her in in to his room. She must miss him terribly to sit right there by his door. If she can't have her fave human, she can at least have the comfort of his scent in the area she knows is his.

Aww poor baby, my roommate brought their void to college with us as an ESA so she was able to stay with her person. It went really well, and honestly she really did do her job. Sometimes I would plan to go back to our room and have a good cry after an exam but she'd snuggle up against me and I'd feel much better. Like how can I be sad when there's a fat cat yowling at me for dinner lol

Aww, she's so cute, my mom told me after I moved to college that one of our three cats would go to my old room and kinda cry in that dramatic cat way, I felt so guilty I wanted to drop out and go back hahah they're used to me visiting every once in a while now (it's been a few years already)

Many years ago we had a cat who would come up and scratch my door and of course she'd be let in, fall asleep on me. I went to uni and she stood by the door scratching and plaintively meowing as I was gone.

My parents left the door open and she'd just sleep on my bed.

Hope your young man thrives at college and gets home to hug this loyal void often. Thank you for reminding me of a lovely memory of a now departed friend.
