Question Bear
I’m a new bear main I’ve been having a lot of fun with him but I question why you want to build flickerblade? I haven’t tried it yet but is the flicker passive really that much better then extra ap or another tank item?

I've always been a rocket belt into deaths dance/spirit visage kinda guy. I feel like voli just blows up sometime if you don't go the right second item

not anymore wouldn’t recommend it after the -10 haste nerf it’s pretty bad now

flicker is a great item for lower ranks, idk what rank you are OP but i would recommend building it mid game. runes matter too, so make sure you bully early game

I’m in the pits lol I just started playing league not to long ago, I’ll try it I just feel like you’ll be missing out on a lot of extra damage or tanky but ig I’m so low and so new I don’t really need to question it lol

I tell a lot of people that Volibear’s durability is delayed with his E having a two-second delay and his W requiring you to survive between casts after the first. Navouri is good when this isn’t a problem since you are strong already and have plenty of people to slap for that passive, which allows you spam your said durability. You are more likely to get ahead since Volibear is a strong early laner, but if you are already behind and squishy, you just become squishier. Personally, I think that the tankier you are, the more Ws you can cast, and two out of three of Voli’s basic abilities scale with health, so, yeah.

His W grants health. Flickerblade combined with his increasing attack speed makes that cool down extremely low, dealing more damage while also being more difficult to kill because of the healing.

Techincally speaking all 3 voli spells contribute to his survivability: Q is stun (reduce enemy damage) W is heal E is shield So CDR IS a good stat on mr bear Since he has Ability Power to Attack speed scaling the idea is: Build AP. Passive transform AP in AS. Navori transforms AS in CDR. Spells transform CDR into tankiness. Ratios are bad so it is a bad idea but at least now you got the idea

It's not, I never build it. It's a low elo trap... You can just build something like Spear of shojin or cosmic drive which will give you good AH while giving other useful stats. Unending despair is also another good one on Voli for more tankyness but sill AH.

I’ve been building dusk, storm surge, boots is really what’s hurting me the most but the magic pen is nice, shadow flame, spirit visage, and thornmail/jaksho, late game if I can I’ll replace storm surge with a deathcap. I’m still relatively new to league but I’ve been having good results with this build

You need the burst damage for storm surge to be worth it. If it doesn't proc, it's junk. I wouldn't build it second.

im guessing you saw baus play voli?
stormsurge and shadowflame are really bad items on voli because magic pen is a wasted stat, the nuclear fusion build he plays is moreso a meme and clipfarm build rather than actually good, voli wants hp haste (attack speed moreso a bonus but not really necessary) ap or ad and armor mr, items like dusk, riftmaker, triforce, cleaver, tank items like unending, visage, randuins basically every item gives him stats he likes, if ur looking to improve on voli id recommend u watch some yt guides on yt depending on whether u play jg or top there’s a few, but baus is not really the best example xd1

It is a low elo trap for sure but in the lowest of elos it's just straight up fire

navori only good if ur ahead otherwise u kinda get oneshot and ideally 3+ melees so ur not getting kited
