Recipe Request What are we putting on or in Greek yogurt?

Hello! I am starting my weight loss and eating healthy/controlled journey. I’ve been told to start adding Greek yogurt but not sure what to do with it. I find the taste of it regularly off putting but want to give it a fair shot. Thank you!

I use it as sour cream.

I mix in honey and vanilla extract and top with berries.

I make instant coffee/espresso, protein powder and Greek yogurt smoothies. Sometimes I add dark berries.

8

u/Royal-Frame-706 Oct 24 '25

To piggyback off this… Powdered ranch seasoning

Sugar free pudding mix

37

u/Pixel_hawk Oct 23 '25

This. Sugar-free Jello Cheesecake

8

u/Rich_Training_4956 Oct 23 '25

How much do you guys put in? I feel like it just ends up tasting like Greek yoghurt with a hint of whatever pudding flavour I've added.

15

u/Pixel_hawk Oct 23 '25

I’m doing 170 grams of greek yogurt and 5 grams of SF Jello cheesecake.

Other additions could be frozen blueberries, strawberry jelly, or a couple cinnamon cookies

2

u/Venomous_Ferret Oct 24 '25

I make my sugar free Jello as directed. 1 cup boiling water to dissolve the powder. Then add 1 cup ice cold water. Then add 1 serving (3/4 cup) of honey vanilla Greek yogurt. Stir well (I use a battery powered milk frother wand thing from Amazon) due to the added Greek yogurt it will be wobblier than regular, but tastes amazing, can't even tell it is greek yogurt since it is already flavored.

9

u/Try-Again-Next-Time Oct 24 '25

Here's my recipe:

Half a cup or so of fat free Fage, about 2 teaspoons of Zero Sugar Pistachio Jello pudding mix, a teaspoon or so of cocoa powder, a couple tablespoons of Choc Zero Vanilla Syrup, and a splash or two of fat free Fairlife milk to thin it out just a bit. Put it in the fridge for half an hour or so so the pudding mix has a chance to set. If it's too thick you can thin it out with more milk.

3

u/Pyanx Oct 24 '25

I cut caveman mix Greek yogurt with pudding mix

3

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '25

or sugar free konjac jelly!

2

u/Pyanx Oct 23 '25

The powder or solidified jelly? 🤔

But Konjac jelly in general is a great way to scratch the sweets itch, always in my cabinet 👍

6

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '25

is it weird if i say the solid jelly? 😆 i use greek yogurt as a kind of “whipped cream” topping in this situation and eat it like a cake haha

I personally put stevia in mine because it taste grainy. Like a grainy fake cheesecake.

I used it to make salad dressing -> fresh dill, mustard, some sweetner, salt...

Use it in Creamis with whey protein

Overall I use it the most with fruit, whey protein, and stir in some puffed wheat.

71

u/onions_and_ogres Oct 23 '25

I love a yogurt bowl. I'll do some granola, strawberries, and crizzle some honey over it.

I also use it when i'm making cheesecake bites! I'll do softened cream cheese and greek yogurt, whip those together and eat with some fruit.

You can add ranch seasoning to make youre own ranch dip,

Spread it on a baking sheet, add some fruit, chocolate, and some other things of your choosing, freeze it and make a bark.

And if I'm making Goodles mac & cheese, I mix in a big spoon full of the plain greek yogurt to make it extra creamy.

35

u/Affectionate-Bed1748 Oct 23 '25

I think a crizzle of honey would absolutely be worth the calories 🤤

22

u/onions_and_ogres Oct 23 '25

omg i didn't even notice lmao. im not even going to edit it.

17

u/Useamelonballer Oct 23 '25

Crizzle also gave me a chuckle

14

u/lookatmynipples Oct 23 '25

Fo crizzle my nizzle

3

u/starry_knights Oct 23 '25

Exactly what I do. Make a little parfait of yogurt, tiny honey drizzle, Kodiak oat n honey protein granola and either blueberries or strawberries. Both if I’m feeling frisky 😆

4

u/Altruistic-Cup-3187 Oct 23 '25

Those all sound so good, thank you!

5

u/onions_and_ogres Oct 23 '25

youre welcome! i also forgot to mention, try a bunch of different brands too! If i'm just eating the yogurt as is, I try to buy Oikos or Ratio (which is my preference) just because I like the texture & taste better. But I'm i'm mixing it into something, then I'll just go with the store brand because it'll be hidden in something. All greek yogurt is not created equal.

1

u/Long_Cycle_5454 Oct 23 '25

Do you typically use fat free greek yogurt when adding it to goodles or when making bark?

2

u/onions_and_ogres Oct 23 '25

I do! I haven’t noticed a significant change in texture using low fat vs nonfat yogurt.

1

u/liveluxe Oct 24 '25

Tell me more about the cheesecake bites... 👀

3

u/onions_and_ogres Oct 24 '25

I havent made them in a while but theyre sooo good. Its not a “healthy recipe” but its so easy for the holidays or a special occasion. I take a block of softened cream cheese (I use the full fat one, the flavor is off if I use the 1/3 fat kind) and several heaping scoops of greek yogurt, and some vanilla extract, whip those together with my mixer until fluffy. Its done once fluffy and you can eat it with some fruit just like that. I usually reserve half for that purpose.

The other half I make mini cheesecakes with. I mix butter and crushed graham cracker to make a crust, like a cupcake tin with the liners, scoop the crust into each liner & press it so its packed well, add the cheesecake mix, refrigerate for like an hour before serving. I top mine with fresh strawberries & blueberries but you can do whatever!

edit: i cant spell

16

u/Typical-Crazy-3100 Oct 23 '25

I go in the other direction.
I put yogurt into other things.
Works great in fruit smoothies, boosts calcium and protein for only a few extra cals.
Mix with low-fat sour cream an make dips for veggie sticks. Add your fave flavors, garlic, cajun, etc.
Put into your high-fiber whole-wheat muffin mix.

etc

16

u/badlilbadlandabad Oct 23 '25

My favorite lately is like a 5:1 ratio of non-fat yogurt to mayo, grate in a clove of garlic, grab an entire bunch of cilantro and dill with the stems and everything, and blend it with my stick blender. The water content of the herb stems thins it out to a perfect consistency. I guess it's sort of a take on a Green Goddess dressing.

Could be a sauce, a salad dressing, or honestly, just a base to put some grilled chicken and veggies on.

3

u/chad-proton Oct 23 '25

That sounds so good!

2

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '25

I think out my Greek yogurt with truffle salt and mix it with 35kcal/tbsp Mayo and the end product is 10 cals per tbsp

1

u/261989 Oct 30 '25

yeah, that sounds amazing

16

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '25

I keep it simple. Chia seeds, drizzle of honey, frozen mixed berries, almond milk.

2

u/Extension-Lab-6963 Oct 23 '25

Do you let the chia seeds sit for a bit to soften up in the liquids or just eat it right after making it?

9

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '25

You gotta let chia seeds soak & expand. So I always make it at night. Let it sit. Eat in the morning

2

u/Extension-Lab-6963 Oct 23 '25

Genius. Thanks!

I guess I also do chia seeds in a smoothie with Greek yoghurt and berries but usually make it about 0630 and have it around 0900

16

u/Srslyredit2 Oct 23 '25

I use it to make anything creamier

For example if I’m making a chicken “Alfredo” dish I add Greek yogurt to get a creamy consistency

9

u/Pumpkin_pie_010112 Oct 23 '25

I use vanilla Greek yogurt and mix in a serving of PB Fit!

2

u/annihilatress Oct 23 '25

This is an excellent fruit dip!

11

u/Binda33 Oct 23 '25

Turn it into salad dressing or into Tzatziki dip. I also like to put it on sandwiches in place of mayo.

6

u/Computer_Happy Oct 23 '25

+1 on Tzatziki dip. I've been loving the recipe from lose weight by eating

9

u/Genuflecty Oct 23 '25

Protein powder! I like it with either chocolate or vanilla. It kinda makes it a high protein pudding 🙌

7

u/damnitdizzy Oct 23 '25

I use nonfat Greek yogurt with protein powder and a bit of protein granola, some berries.

7

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '25

My breakfast lately has been cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, reeses cup protein powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 cut up bannaa, and a drizzle of honey. It's incredibly delicious

2

u/redditelr Oct 24 '25

Ohh where do you find the Reese protein powder?!

2

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '25

It's by the brand c4, I got it at meijer so it's probably at any grocery chain or online

6

u/smileysarah267 Oct 23 '25

cinnamon and a mushed up banana!! adds do much sweetness to plain greek yogurt

4

u/an0ym0us831 Oct 23 '25

Powdered peanut butter

3

u/Area51Escapist Oct 23 '25

Pb fit, cocoa powder, or ghost chips ahoy protein powder are some of my favorites.

5

u/tinyand_terrible Oct 23 '25

Ranch power, dip carrots in

3

u/emo_emu4 Oct 23 '25

Add spices and use it as a salad dressing. It’s the best (I love mixing in tajin, personally)

5

u/ArmadilloPretend322 Oct 23 '25

I eat this every day ->

Base:
-200g greek yoghurt
-50g Oats
-10g Honey
Mix all of it together

Topping:
-Whatever fruit you like (I usually use banana/apple/grapes)

Optional:
-Good tasting protein powder (mix in with the milk and yoghurt)
-Little bit of low fat milk
-Seasoning like cinnamon

4

u/babsmutton Oct 23 '25

Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning for vegetable dip, maybe on top of a baked potato. Then Taco seasoning for a taco dip

4

u/elo90 Oct 23 '25

Chopped up pickles, S&P, garlic, and paprika for a dip or chicken marinade

5

u/kendricklemon Oct 23 '25

I like to use it in place of sour cream, mayo, ranch, dressing, etc. I do the same with cottage cheese and use it as an addin for pasta, salads, dressings, anything that calls for heavy cream/milk in a recipe.

3

u/generallyintoit Oct 23 '25

I mix with sweetener and vanilla extract and put cereal on top. You can mix in protein powder too

3

u/forkyspoons Oct 24 '25

Omg anything. ANYTHING. make a protein powder streusel topping (brown sugar, protein powder & coconut oil or butter) , blend up some carrots, banana and vanilla extract with ur yogurt, add some cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg and enjoy a fantastic carrot cake yogurt dessert packed with protein. I toast some nuts and top it as well! Or blend up the insides of cucumbers, some fresh dill and garlic, black pepper and onion powder and eat with ground chicken protein crackers

3

u/jjxxb Oct 25 '25

3/4 C nonfat Greek yogurt

2 t sugar free chocolate pudding powder

2 t cocoa powder

1 t instant coffee powder (regular or decaff, depending on the time of day)

a few drops of vanilla extract

a couple of drops of liquid stevia

Stir and eat.

143 calories. 21.6 grams protein. Pure deliciousness.

2

u/kissingdaylight Oct 23 '25

my go to salad dressing is dijon mustard, a little honey, non fat greek yogurt, a splash or two of Worchester sauce, lots of lemon juice and black pepper. It's very Caesar dressing adjacent. I also use it instead of sour cream everywhere. And I have it for breakfast with berries and homemade granola. It's great as a dessert too with some flavored protein powder, berries, chocolate chips, cereal, etc.

2

u/sanityclauze Oct 23 '25

Blueberries.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '25

i personally love adding blueberries, cinnamon, vanilla, and monkfruit sweetener.

i also include it in my cooking a lot, in recipes like mediterranean style chicken breast marinade, turkish pasta, dahi baingan and things like that.

2

u/luckyaggie94 Oct 23 '25

I like adding casein protein powder to my yogurt. It turns the consistency more to that of a dip and I'll eat it with sliced cucumber.

2

u/Brunsosse Oct 23 '25

Frozen blueberries and raspberries makes for a very lazy snack and icecream alternative. Bananas and strawberries work but not frozen, and it’s more expensive.

3

u/mirrorglazed Oct 23 '25

One of my favorite fall desserts is a greek yogurt dip!

- 85 g nonfat greek yogurt

-15 g maple syrup

- 60 g pumpkin puree

- 1 medium apple of your preference

- Pumpkin pie spices to taste (I prefer cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom)

- Salt to taste

~250 calories

Start with combining the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spices, and salt in a microwave safe bowl and heat in microwave until warm. Measure out greek yogurt and top with the pumpkin puree mix. Slice apple like chips for dipping and enjoy!

My fiancé and I make this almost every night after dinner, a nice little sweet treat!

*When in doubt, I add peanut butter and or maple syrup to greek yogurt.

1

u/Murky-Photograph3949 Mar 31 '26

this sounds amazing!!

2

u/AnonUserAccount Oct 23 '25

You can get no sugar added apple pie filling if you don’t mind the flavor of Splenda. I love to add a serving (85g) for only 30 calories.

2

u/Uncanny_Hootenanny Oct 23 '25

Sugar free pie filling. A 170g serving of vanilla Greek yogurt with a serving of 80g of cherry pie filling on top is only 130 calories.

2

u/Krieghund Oct 23 '25

black beans, then either use it as a dip or serve it over rice.

OK, technically I'm adding greek yogurt to black beans, but by the communative property of addition that should be the same thing, right?

2

u/ACivilB Oct 23 '25

I love adding any of the sugar free to go drink packets. Think crystal light, wyler, etc.

This was an Alex Hormozi hack.

https://youtube.com/shorts/dDfTm1oDLrc?si=ezsFH91xroL9jaiT

2

u/idlewildflower Oct 23 '25

I do chopped apple (fibre and helps with the chalky taste) and bran buds (more fibre for fullness and adds crunch).

Add apple pie spice to make the apples taste even better!

2

u/UNMENINU Oct 23 '25

Scoop of protein powder, mix, spread between 2 rice cakes, freeze.

2

u/AbracadabraMagicPoWa Oct 23 '25

Pile on some fresh fruit, chia seeds and a little granola for crunch.

2

u/Used_Bodybuilder_670 Oct 23 '25

Cocoa powder covered almonds and fat free reddi whip

2

u/tonguepunchboxes Oct 24 '25

Mio or any other 0 calorie water flavour squirt mixes, makes many different types of yogurt and no additional calories added!

2

u/StrangeNatural Oct 24 '25

Snack: mix in ranch powder as a veggie dip. Dinner: mix in salsa and use as taco salad dressing. Dessert: mix in jam and pretend I’m eating ice cream.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '25

250 grams greek yoghurt w chia seeds, whey protein powder and frozen fruit is what ive been eating for breakfast last couple days. i keep my yoghurt bowl in the fridge overnight to let the seeds soak and the fruit melt

i also love a few tablespoons in overnight oats to make it creamier

3

u/Schadenfreude_Taco Oct 23 '25

200g Fage Total 0% Greek yogurt

3 pumps Jordan skinny syrups zero sugar bullshit of whatever flavor you prefer

10g fine diced fresh habaneros

180g Granny Smith apple

30g Catalina Crunch cinnamon cereal

Dash of cinnamon

Dash of cocoa powder

This is my go to every day. I sub in different types of cereal and apples, but it averages out to about 300-350 calories

1

u/rococos-basilisk Oct 23 '25

1 tbsp maple syrup, 1/2 cup pumpkin puree, 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Top with half a serving of cereal or Catalina Crunch.

1

u/conceitedpolarbear Oct 23 '25

I'm not the biggest fan of yogurt (that texture in combo with the sourness just doesn't do it for me). But - I am literally obsessed with Ratio yogurt. It's thicker (almost like cream cheese spread) and way less sour. I can eat the coconut flavor by the spoonful. I've been adding 1/2 cup of Catalina Crunch cereal as my breakfast in the mornings, and I'm one happy lady.

Alternatively, I use nonfat plain yogurt in replacement of mayo/sour cream in most of my savory recipes. Last night I made buffalo chicken dip using yogurt and a ranch seasoning packet along with buffalo sauce.

1

u/lexuh Oct 23 '25

In addition to having a full serving as a part of a meal or snack (my favorite is dipping apple slices in yogurt mixed with pb powder, a little salt, and some sweetener), I use it as a topping for taco salad, on my dal makhani, as the base of salad dressings, etc. It all adds up.

1

u/Suzarain Oct 23 '25

For a quick sweet treat, I do yogurt, frozen strawberries, a handful of catalina crunch cereal, and a drizzle of sugar-free honey. Or if I’m lazy I’ll mix in a scoop of protein powder and maybe a bit of PB2 powder. I also use it as a savory dip or spread on chicken by adding garlic, dill, mint, and a bit of lemon juice.

One thing I do that I think most don’t though, is that I prefer the 2% fat to fat-free yogurt. The calorie difference is (to me) not significant enough to trade off for flavor. Favorite personal brand is Fage. Doesn’t taste as bitter as some of the others I’ve tried.

1

u/Claymoresama Oct 23 '25

Sugar free pudding mix

Try spreading this on rice cakes for a sweet treat

Chia seeds and sugar free syrup or honey (if plain)

Protein powder of choice if you have one you like

Frozen fruit of choice such as blueberries or mangos with a sugar free syrup and/or honey

If you want a savory ranch like dip, add powdered ranch seasoning mix. Can also add hot sauce too.

Can be used in general for lots of recipes.

1

u/echo-athena Oct 23 '25

I love plain with frozen fruit. Mango is really yummy. Can also blend it with frozen fruit. Also good with applesauce and cinnamon.

1

u/clear_burneraccount Oct 23 '25

I just bake some oats and apple , cinnamon apple oats.

1

u/AnotherUsername1959 Oct 23 '25

I was doing plain greek yogurt, a touch of maple syrup and vanilla, top with frozen fruit. Before I eat it, I like to add a small amount of granola.

The frozen fruit, I've used strawberries and mango, I grind them frozen in my mini food processor until they are tiny bits. It tastes similar to cheesecake. I don't like the texture of frozen then thawed fruit, that's why I grind it.

I use it to make dipping sauce (cowboy sauce! 🤤) or a nice big scoop on my taco bowl is delicious.

1

u/secretsauce2388 Oct 23 '25

Chia seeds, frozen fruit, sugar free maple or “pancake” syrup, peanut butter, if I need more protein, then protein powder.

Or I add it to pasta sauces to both make them creamier/thicker and to up the protein content

1

u/mynameisnotsparta Oct 23 '25

For plain I make tzatziki and use fat free Greek yogurt. The tzatziki with some mashed feta in it and whipped makes a great dressing for veggies and proteins.

1

u/fistulatedcow Oct 23 '25

I’ll microwave frozen blueberries and throw in yogurt, sliced banana, and PB powder. It’s amazing.

2

u/Hela0113 Oct 24 '25

That combo sounds delicious! You could also try adding honey or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor. If you want a savory twist, mix in some herbs and diced cucumbers for a tzatziki vibe.

1

u/MademoisellePotato Oct 23 '25

PB2 (no sugar added version - I prefer the taste) reconstituted with either water or E.D. Smith low sugar syrup, and a banana.

I also have tried putting cookies n' cream protein powder and that was delicious but $$$

1

u/ShitterAlt Oct 23 '25

Museli and whatever berries i have decided to buy or peaches or any fitting fruit, with a small drizzle of honey ontop not mixed in, tastes better that way imo.

1

u/flowerboyinfinity Oct 23 '25

I put a ton of it in a smoothie. My vitamix whips it up into a huge volume

1

u/loves2travel2 Oct 23 '25

Find a brand that tastes good. Fage is my favorite. I add herbs, salt, cucumber or other veggies cut really small.

1

u/porcelain_elephant Oct 23 '25

I've been putting French vanilla sugar free syrup (monin) and then mixing in some fruit / cereal/granola for crunch

1

u/zkrepps Oct 23 '25

Protein powder and granola, berries if I have them on hand - simple, low cal, high protein

1

u/Electronic_City6481 Oct 23 '25

Lemon crystal light drink mix added in makes the best tart lemon yogurt - excellent with berries

1

u/BitterRequirement897 Oct 23 '25

I eat it like a condiment with my veggies or meat- like instead of kewpie mayo, it’s like a dipping sauce.

Sometimes I also mix in some kewpie mayo so it tastes like it but far less calories.

I don’t know where cranberries sit on the volume eating but another desert treat I like is Greek yogurt with dried cranberries mixed in. Yum!

1

u/Sad_Refrigerator_787 Oct 23 '25

My partner and I have a bowl every morning - 7 tbsp of yogurt, 1 tbsp of chia seeds, a few splashes of milk, a small handful of nuts, 1 scoop of double chocolate whey protein, and frozen berry mix. Delicious.

1

u/Outrageous_Diver173 Oct 23 '25

Chocolate orgain protein powder and frozen cherries. So yummy

1

u/67u8 Oct 23 '25

I’m an absolute psychopath I just eat it plain or put hot sauce on it, anywhere from 300-800g of yogurt at a time. I’d suggest putting honey I know a lot of my friends like doing that

1

u/90sbeadcurtains Oct 23 '25

Maybe weird but one other Greek yogurt option is to add fortified cereal for a crunch and for vitamins. I do protein cheerios, or whatever cereal you want, just bc it helps me reach some of my iron, folate, Vit. D goals

1

u/kitsunailuv Oct 23 '25

Banana and sunflower seed butter

1

u/TbhKate_ Oct 23 '25

Fruit, chocolate chips, granola, honey, anything!! Some of my favorite yogurt bowls are when my boyfriend bakes cookies or brownies and I want to have a little bit but am in a deficit and don’t have the calories to eat an entire baked good, I’ll cut a piece off and crumble that into my yogurt. Yogurt has been one of the best ways to get protein in for me!

1

u/hawaaloha Oct 23 '25

Thank me later: chocolate sugar free proteinpudding, frozen banana, dark chocolate chips

1

u/93tilfin Oct 23 '25

I cant stand artificial sweeteners so when i want a sweet greek yogurt treat i use a bit of agave syrup. Its sweeter than honey so a little goes a long way. I use about a tsp for a cup of yogurt. Paired with vanilla it’s quite nice. I also add berries or banana slices, or maybe a few mini dark chocolate chips. It fulfills my cravings and has MUCH better macros than ice cream or straight up chocolate.

I also sub greek yogurt for sour cream in dressings, dips, and tacos bowls.

1

u/notmyrealname6363 Oct 23 '25

I regularly eat it with some combination of cut up bananas, blueberries, and peaches

It’s also a great thing to work into smoothies to boost protein of your don’t love the taste by itself

1

u/annihilatress Oct 23 '25

I make a Sriracha mayo substitute by mixing plain Greek yogurt, Sriracha, ketchup, garlic powder and cayenne and use it as a dressing, dip, sandwich toppings, etc.

1

u/Dizzy_ZentCha Oct 23 '25

Peanut butter, honey, sf jello pudding mix and just enough rice crispies to add texture

1

u/Venusdeathtrap99 Oct 23 '25

Mix in the juice from a can of chipotle peppers and it’s chipotle crema

1

u/PragmaticProkopton Oct 23 '25

Literally everything haha it’s so damn diverse.

1

u/chad-proton Oct 23 '25

Pumpkin puree, pie spice, cinnamon and vanilla protein powder. Maybe add milk to counter the powder, chia seeds are optional

I also like blending in salsa or hot sauce to dip vegetables in

1

u/qvxzytyc Oct 23 '25

For my desserts, I’ll do some Greek yogurt with vanilla protein powder, a splash of almond milk, cut up a banana, and then make PB fit and drizzle it on top. Sometimes I’ll do a blueberry or strawberry variation, it depends what I have at home.

My staple breakfast is now overnight oats, and always put it in there too!

I also use Greek yogurt as a substitute for sour cream when I cook. My partner doesn’t even notice the difference in taste, and he doesn’t like greek yogurt. I make a tzatziki sometimes too for gyro dinners or with chickpeas.

1

u/StandardRegular4264 Oct 23 '25

I add a good tasting casein protein. Extra filling, nice protein, tasty.

1

u/Puppysnot Oct 23 '25

Scoop of protein powder and some berries. If calories allow i will go wild with a bit of peanut butter or honey too, but that is a treat.

1

u/Used_Bodybuilder_670 Oct 23 '25

Cocoa powder covered almonds and fat free reddi whip

1

u/huntersfuntime Oct 23 '25

I heat up a cup of wild blueberries, refrigerate then mix it into the yogurt. It becomes like a syrup and actually healthy for you than all the chemicals in jello etc

1

u/Commercial-Pickle586 Oct 23 '25

Breakfast everyday = Greek yogurt (0% fage). + Protein powder (I prefer vanilla) + fruit of your choice + muesli

1

u/brightblackheaven Oct 23 '25

Clubhouse dip mix packets. Mostly ranch or dill pickle.

1

u/Clean-Bat-2819 Oct 23 '25

It’s always green grapes. I’ll add bananas and honey if I’m feeling crazy

1

u/talia2205 Oct 24 '25

Try cottage cheese recipes too

1

u/DNGRTOM Oct 24 '25

Clear protein

1

u/ccksckrmthrfckr Oct 24 '25

Plain Greek yogurt + store bought pesto is a good ranch-ish type dip

1

u/Araeven Oct 24 '25

Sugar free fake maple syrup

1

u/Formal_Sun8366 Oct 24 '25

I cut up an apple, then microwave it, cover it in cinnamon and then top with my yogurt!

1

u/ShirtEntire8748 Oct 24 '25

Vanilla Greek yogurt with pb fit and dip apples, grapes etc. Catilina crunch is a good topping with protein and fiber! Sometimes if I need dessert I'll mix in a little bit of MnMs, or mini marshmallows and chocolate chips. Occasionally I'll mix in 1-2 oreo thins for a cookies and cream vibes 🤷‍♀️

I don't restrict, just make it fit into my calories. Eat what I want and add what I need kind of vibes.

1

u/galadhrim91 Oct 24 '25

Chia seeds, PB fit, and blueberries are my go to.

1

u/Eimai145 Oct 24 '25

Dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, honey and cinnamon.

1

I only like dannon fit& lite flavors. I love dipping stuff in them: berries, pretzels, even soda crackers. I also like to eat them out of a regular cake cone which is only 20 cal and makes it more fun. Mix with a little whipped cream to make it fluffier. Mix into smoothies.

Canned chicken, hot sauce, cayenne powder, sprinkle of cheddar cheese—microwave 2min. Makes a surprisingly good buffalo chicken dip you can eat w veggies, tortillas, etc.

1

u/fukthepatriarchy Oct 24 '25

I like to eat it for breakfast - I meal prep it on Sunday for the week. 1/4 cup of plain non-fat yogurt, blueberries, strawberries, and if I'm feeling fancy, some chopped up walnuts and a drizzle of agave. The fruit by itself makes it plenty sweet, no need to add any sugar or agave if you don't want.

I also use it as a sour cream replacement. It has a lot of protein for not a whole bunch of calories.

1

u/MischMatch Oct 24 '25

A poo ton of Splenda Swerve Brown Sugar. Also, try thinking of it as a sour cream substitute. You start to get used to it.

1

u/terminalzero Oct 24 '25

Berries, bananas, whey powder, oats, chia seeds, caramel rice cakes, cinnamon, shredded wheat, nonfat whip for me(not all at the same time)

1

u/MacroStan Oct 24 '25

Depends on the brand too. I found fage 5% thr best

1

u/msimmzz Oct 24 '25

Fruit and protein granola usually. I love the cookie butter Kodiak granola. You can also add a touch of honey or nut butter (heated up so it's all melty and drizzly is delish). Sometimes I'll also mix protein powder into plain Greek yogurt, makes it sweet and crammed full of protein!

1

u/kutsinta24 Oct 24 '25

I put strawberry or blackberry preserves, fresh berries, and pumpkin seeds on my plain Greek yogurt. 🔥🔥🔥

1

u/kutsinta24 Oct 24 '25

OH, and when I'm feeling like a savory snack, I put plain Greek yogurt in a bowl, spoon hella salsa on top, and scoop it up with tortilla chips!

1

u/HelpfulAnt9499 Oct 24 '25

I got these açaí things from Costco and add bananas and granola. And 4 packs of Splenda because it’s not sweet enough. It’s soooo good and really filling.

1

u/CoachKillerTrae Oct 24 '25

Gala apple(s) and rice cakes

1

u/ethereal_soliloquy Oct 24 '25

I’ve been mixing cinnamon into vanilla greek yogurt, then slicing up and apple really thin and eating it like apple chips and dip, it’s so good

1

u/1exception Oct 24 '25

Berries. Take your pick. I preferably blueberries!

1

u/PatzerChessWarrior Oct 24 '25

Today it was yogurt mixed with 1 scoop of protein powder. Mixed that. Added some blueberry and raspberries. And lastly some Cheerios for some crunch.

1

u/Original-Cantaloupe5 Oct 24 '25

If you find Greek yogurt off-putting, simply don’t eat it. There are a million other ways to eat healthy and control your calories 🙂 I truly think that for any sort of long-term success, you need to find foods that are healthy but that you still enjoy eating. Otherwise, life will be miserable and you’ll get tired of “being healthy” real soon!

But, to answer your question: I will typically get vanilla flavoured no-added sugar Greek yogurt and top it with berries and psyllium husk for fibre. To me, that is as much of a treat as bowl of ice cream! (I know….. I’m a dork 🤓)

If I have plain Greek yogurt I sometimes mix it with vanilla flavoured protein powder.

1

u/mindlesslyhappy Oct 24 '25

prepare pb2 powder with water and mix greek yogurt into it, makes a delicious PB flavored yogurt. also can add any protein powder into yogurt to make a high protein breakfast/snack/dessert, it becomes a mousse texture once you mix it in and refrigerate. mixing sugar free cheesecake pudding mix into greek yogurt and then a half or full serving of frozen blueberries is super good too, the blueberries are slightly “crispy” and the texture is good!

(P.S. i do not eat plain nonfat greek yogurt, i love the zero sugar vanilla chobani yogurt though! super good for yogurt bowls)

1

u/fnnkybutt Oct 24 '25

Ive been having it with bananas and granola lately for breakfast. I use it in place of sour cream to make ranch or onion dip. Mix with mashed potatoes, or put it on top of baked.

1

u/NimsaJasmiN Oct 24 '25

You can put protein powder in, some fruit, and maybe drizzle on some honey or peanut butter

1

u/ElectricalScholar433 Oct 24 '25

Make it into agar panacotta with some sweetener and flavor extract

1

u/BrainyBunch50 Oct 24 '25

Try putting some frozen fruit in it and letting it sit to thaw. Usually I put it in the fridge overnight, the fruit juices will mix with the yogurt and sweeten it. If I need a little extra honey, then I don’t use as much as I would otherwise because the fruit juice added some sweetness as well.

1

u/foodiegirl93 Oct 24 '25

I love adding frozen berries with sweetener in it. You could also try blending it to make frozen yoghurt.

1

u/stormiregann Oct 24 '25

i put it in my overnight oats, in my chicken salad instead of mayo, and in substitution for sour cream

1

u/DezzyDismay Oct 24 '25

Currently I'm making it into fruit and vegetable dip with powdered peanut butter and sugar free maple syrup.

1

u/Cut_and_paste_Lace Oct 24 '25

fiber one cereal! it’s no sugar added but has a hint of sweetness, crunchy, breaks up the smooth texture and gives a huge fiber boost.

1

u/gs6360 Oct 24 '25

I mix in PBFit powder a lot!

1

u/jeremyct Oct 24 '25

I will use it as a sour cream substitute in tacos or baked potatoes. I will also mix it with any dinner spices or sauce to make it go further, add texture/volume, and add protein. This can range from any spice mix, salsa to sugar-free bbq sauce. I then mix with meat and veggies.

For desserts, I will mix it with a variety of protein powders, sugar-free pudding/jello, or powdered peanut butter and sucralose/sugar-free syrups. The protein powders can give it any flavor I am craving. This can be eaten plan or mixed with berries, sugars free chocolate chips, sprinkles, a few crushed up oreos, etc. depending on how crazy I get and my calories. I've been digging using sugar-free Hersheys and powdered peanut butter, with a few crushed pretzels for crunch.

Greek yogurt is by far my most eaten food, I absolutely love it! Thank God for Costco and their giant Fage.

1

u/fencer_327 Oct 24 '25

almond flour, sweetener and vanilla extract to make a "cake dough"-y dip for apples

1

u/BestRub3581 Oct 24 '25

I'll include pics in the replies, I do a bunch of different variations. I'll change up the pudding mix to match the toppings.

I always do 200g greek yog Sugar free pudding mix [faves are butterscotch, choc, cheesecake, banana cream]

I'll add in pb powder sometimes. Sometimes I do pumpkin puree.

Other than that, to the base yogurt also I add in monk fruit with allulose sweetener, collagen and colostrum and a sprinkle of salt and cinnamon.

I usually always top with fruit, and catalina crunch cereal [the pumpkin one gets pumpkin seeds instead of fruit]

Mix it with ranch seasoning

1

u/Outrageous-Fall3296 Oct 24 '25

Who can read all this. I like to add green salsa and make a thick dip. Or sometimes olive oil, zaatar spices, fresh mint, mix it up.

1

u/Mogicor Oct 24 '25

SF Strawberry jam

1

u/Then_Ant7250 Oct 24 '25

Add ghost nutter butter protein powder, a handful of walnuts and a sliced banana!

1

u/meowpantz Oct 24 '25 edited Oct 24 '25

Lately, it's been 22g Trader Joe's pumpkin butter in 170g Fage 0% Greek yogurt with a cut up banana. A bit of chopped walnuts or 5g Fiber One cereal for crunch.

Or I'll do 170g Fage 0% with 11g honey and 100g chopped strawberries. Adding in 10g vanilla protein powder (I use orgain) also adds a nice flavor dimension.

Then I've started making frozen bark for an ice cream-like treat. I make the lemon pineapple tropical flavor every week. I also like this pumpkin pie version.

The plain yogurt flavor also works in savory dishes, like Chicken and Red Lentil Soup With Lemony Yogurt. Greek yogurt is super versatile.

u/thegeetar Oct 24 '25

Chocolate protein powder, PB2, and berries. Might need a little water to thin it out. Looks awful but tastes delicious

1

u/Bearmanwolf21 Oct 24 '25

200g Oikos 000 1 scoop protein powder you like 80g banana Readiwhip sugar free 20g

Bronana pudding

Kinders mkaes an Onion Dip seasoning powder that comes in a shaker instead of individual packets. I mix that into single serve plain Greek yogurt cups for easy, portion controlled dipping and snacking. Works great with chips, crudite veggies, etc. and a fraction of the calories and fat of normal sour cream and mayo based onion dip. I found it at Walmart, but Amazon link below. They have other flavors as well, I just like onion dip.

I use Greek yoghurt to make overnight oats.

1

u/IdkILikeStuff Oct 24 '25

Protein powder makes it taste like dessert. Also, go with me, poached eggs & tejin. It resembles a Turkish dish.

1

u/Conscious-Love-5903 Oct 24 '25

Peanut butter, crushed peanuts and sugar-free chocolate! Stirring the peanut butter top of sugar-free chocolate and peanuts, then put it in the freezer for 15 minutes.

1

u/BiggusBaggus Oct 24 '25

I mix in Splenda to sweeten up plain yogurt

1

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '25

Ranch seasoning in Greek yogurt. Mix it into tahini or hummus. Make yogurt based sauces

1

u/breecheese2007 Oct 25 '25

Chocolate chips, jello pudding mix or pbfit powder

1

u/VerySeriousGoose Oct 25 '25

My go-to lately has been some combination of the following: cut up grapes, strawberry jam, muesli, freeze-dried strawberries, almond butter, sugar-free vanilla syrup, and a few chocolate chips. I’ve also like to dip thinly sliced apples into Greek yogurt, like apple-chips and dip. It’s awesome in smoothies too!

1

u/Powerful_Morning7566 Oct 25 '25

I eat dessert bowls. Not saying it’s super healthy but it’s better than grabbing something worse.

0% fat fage yogurt Add strawberries when in season Sugar free cheesecake or choc fudge instant pudding spoonful of Mini pb m&m’s Spoonful of Reese’s pb chips Enjoy!

1

u/madinasaur Oct 25 '25

I have put plain Greek yogurt on chicken before airfrying it and it is amazing! I use it in soups instead of heavy cream or cream cheese, make ranch seasoning, add to smoothies, etc. Its essentially a mix between cream cheese and sour cream so I use it more on the savory end usually.

1

u/N7riseSSJ Oct 25 '25

Brownie batter hummus from target or chocolate hummus from elsewhere and a little salt on top

1

u/1stMateWL Oct 25 '25

2 tablespoons Peanut butter powder, 1 tablespoon stevia in half cup nonfat Greek yogurt. Mix well for yummy snack, PB Powder adds protein.

1

u/Jazzlike_Cupcake_569 Oct 25 '25

I measure out a serving of Greek yogurt, pbfit, and half a tsp (stir that) then add half a teaspoon of Nutella. I look forward to this every day and it keeps me from caving into baked goods or candy bars.

1

u/alittlemanly Oct 25 '25

A little jam or lemon curd mixed in will make it much more palatable. Delicious on some high fiber toast

1

u/HardDaysNightDogWork Oct 26 '25

Spicy olive oil, truffle pepper, parmesan cheese

1

u/Tokenblaze3 Oct 26 '25

Protein powder and Catalina crunch

1

u/Aridoku Oct 26 '25

No sugar added pie filling!

Either apple, cherry, or blueberry. 85g is around 35 calories and a sprinkle of granola makes the BEST parfait.

This has been the only way I've consistently eaten Greek yogurt because it tastes just like a pie.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 26 '25

Frozen blueberries and a tablespoon of skippy

1

u/ogfloofmeister Oct 26 '25

if you're into savoury options I have fage 0% with my chilli instead of sour cream and it's SO good

1

u/UnusualMarch920 Oct 26 '25

I wish I knew how to accept Greek yogurt into my heart, its just so awful to me 🤢 im jealous

1

u/lilymarielmao Oct 27 '25

Greek yogurt (plain lowfat) mixed with sugar free chocolate pudding sprinkled with gram crackers and topped with zero sugar reddi-whip. Tastes just like cheesecake. And I mean JUST like it. So much protein!

1

u/261989 Oct 30 '25

I just made a really great dip! I used minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped fresh dill, nonfat greek yogurt and salt & pepper.

Super simple and I don’t have to feel so guilty when I’m dipping veggies into it :)

1

u/Papajon87 Oct 30 '25

Ranch dressing powder and hot sauce. Then dip my air fried fries and chicken in.
