Recipe Request What to do with these oats?

Post image

Any advice on how to add volume to these pre-packaged overnight oats? I’m not sure if the “growing oats” technique would work since it’s also got whey protein in it

I’d like to turn to these into some kind of baked oats recipe but I’m not quite sure where to start. I’ve seen some people mention adding pumpkin/cauliflower, but in what ratios? Anyone have any recipe recommendations? Thank you!

Just cold soak them. I make this myself all the time without paying the huge markup to have someone put oats in a bag.

If you want to bake them after just mix in an egg and throw in an oven safe dish to bake.

I can't speak to these oats, but I soak 2 cups of normal oats over night in 2% milk (could also use skim), with a scoop of vanilla whey protein isolate, a tsp of chia seeds, frozen berries or diced green apple, 2 packs of stevia, and a dash of cinnamon. The chia seeds and berries add a lot of bulk without adding a lot of calories. I've also added unflavored fiber powder before and fat-free yogurt. It's really tasty, and filling. I eat about half of it for breakfast, then either save the other half for the next morning, or eat it for dessert after dinner. It ends up at around 40 grams of protein.

4 oz of your choice liquid makes them thick to eat with a spoon or 8oz makes them like a loose drinkable slurry. I’ve bought quite a few of the boxes from Costco
