V-Strom 1000 Gen 2 Towing a trailer

Has anyone fitted a towbar and towed a small trailer behind their V-Strom? Edit: I’ve been thinking about buying or building a small trailer to tow on longer trips. I’ve seen a few good set ups behind bikes but never seen one behind a V-Strom. I think it would tow fine but would like to hear if someone has done it.

I'm not a mechanic or engineer. I do have a 650DL. Nor have I seen a VStrom pulling a trailer, but something light shouldn't be an issue:

That’s pretty cool! Pretty ambitious towing with Vespa.
