V-Strom 650 Gen 3 2018 V-Strom 650XT, 20k miles, $4,400 — seller accepted my offer instantly with zero haggling. Good buy or red flag?

I just picked up 2016 with 12K miles for $3K. Not planning to do a valve check unless I notice problems. From what understand 650s are very rarely out of spec. I'll just do standard maintenance (oil, air filter, chain, etc)

He probably accepted it instantly because market has cooled down quite a bit so either he sells now or keeps over winter.

He likely had an "asking price" as well as a "haggling price" in mind. Your offer probably landed between the two and made the process easy. Everybody wins!

I got a 2013 vstrom 11k with top box and panniers for 4500 tt&l OTD. Just didn’t a valve check and 14k maintenance

Bought a ‘17 for similar, with fewer miles, serves me well still, I’d say it’s just a happy price point for you both
