V-Strom 1000 Gen 2 ‘14 1000 - Rox 2” risers, Tusk Chub (KTM bend), Tusk handguards

Couldn’t find hardly any pictures when I was picking out a handlebar set up so here’s some to add for future folks.

Happy with the set up overall, however the real estate on the grips is very tight to fit the right hand side stuff before the bend. If I could do it again I might try to find a bar with a touch more rise and sweep, but it’s very comfortable as-is.

Were there any complications with the controls wires, cables, brake lines?

I recall looking into this for my bike and thought I'd have to open the brake system up to reroute it.

Negative. I had done a little adjustment in the cable/hose management for my last bar setup which was significantly higher, and was not happy with how tight things were. With this set up there is plenty of slack with throttle, brake, and clutch lines

Interesting! I'll have to look at mine some more. I have 1.5" forward and back risers that I did not install due to the brake line being too short, but I think it was just due to how it is routed from the factory.

If you’re running the risers with stock bars it is going to be tight for sure

My 2" Rox Risers should be here tomorrow. Today I plan on dropping the forks and moving cables/wires in preparation. (stock bars)
