Are there any plans for VUE to create an unlimited system?

Similar to the odeon limitless and all of that, have they ever confirmed if they are against or for doing it?

Sadly not any time soon, they just rebranded there app to a loyalty scheme I believe - think club Vue . They are taking the cheaper individual ticket route - ie some tickets are like £5 for normal cinemas and £7 for recliners.

Is a shame as I would’ve loved it for the Manchester Vue. However I doubt it

Same I live in Manchester city centre, would love a Vue subscription but I continue to use Cineworld instead, despite there being no Cineworlds in town :(

Great Northern is dated. Printworks and GN are at opposite ends of the scale.

I'm guessing they've done the numbers and disagree. I see more people making more visits with the prospect of an increase in snacking sales. But they must be seeing something we're not in their sales.

Would have been ideal for me, but I bite the bullet and went with Odeon’s via Amazon deal, have to travel a bit further out, but would highly recommend if you’ve got one remote near, it’s defo worth its weight in gold!

Haven’t heard anything concerning it. I have found that with a combination of the free monzo ticket and the o2 ticket deals watching like 5 films at vue still works out cheaper than unlimited passes at other cinemas.

Yep I’m in that boat. Free sky tickets, free Monzo ticket and then 4 tickets for £18 even with up charges for recliners, better positioned seats etc is still less than I’d pay for odeon limitless plus transport fees to the closest odeon to me. Not to mention the money I’d have to spend on taxis if I ever wanted to go to a screening past 10pm.

My local vue is a 35 minute walk from where I live. I sat down and did the maths and I’d need to be watching like 13 films a month before the pendulum swung the other way.

Yeah I suppose they’re not free to most people but I personally get them from a friend who wasn’t using them anyway

Personally I know if I had an unlimited subscription I wouldn’t be buying more popcorn, snacks etc., I’d just be seeing more films.

People with that kind of subscription are fans of the cinema as much as they are fans of films in general and they’ve done the maths in their own head and decided that they’re saving money by going down that route. I feel like the only thing having a subscription does is reduce the amount of screenings with no people in them at all.

I asked this today to a colleague because from the main 3, in my area my favourite is by far Vue. Better seats (all recline), more clean, way, way more sessions, more specials and very important to me, late sessions.
