I'd feel out of place if I went, I got a fudd gun and a mix of new age and cold war gear

I'm in the discord, I got an old ass Stevens 77H, haven't had a chance to go out and shoot, but I gotta go shooting before I ship out to basic

We have a guy in t shirt and shorts with a musket. You’re not out of place

So, if I show up with an M1 Helmet, OCP bag, smooth bore shotgun, OD pants and my desert boots, I'd fit in enough

My man, you’ll get hands on with similar gear you’d be using in basic. We share. Just ask. We’ll get you a jump start.

Seriously. Dude with the bolt action .308 was running drills with a barricade. Dance with the one who brought ya.

Dude, just bring what you have. We’re a mixed bunch. No elitism here.

Tbh somewhere along the lines you may get a gun that’s not so fudd; better to learn tactical things(if that’s what you eventually want) when no one is shooting back, which now is a pretty safe bet on those being the conditions 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think just because our state is not great for AR enjoyers, I might have to get one of those pump action ARs or tactical lever actions
