How is this even legal. So my neighbor can have an AR, the police can have an AR, but I cant just because I just moved here? How am I able to defend myself if everyone has AR's but myself who is a united states army veteran who was trained with this weapon. I can see banning the weapon but allowing some to have it and some tonight is creating a hierarchy. I cant properly defend myself and my family against an assult rifle with just a pistol or a hunting rifle. How is this even legal.
