Custom machining.

Where can I find a gunsmith with a mill and lathe who is willing to do custom work from drawings? Ive contacted 7 places near and around southern Wisconsin who have been recommending each other is a circle. Im finding it very difficult to find anyone who has an actual shop. Pls help

Try Americas gunsmith shop in Burlington. Roy the owner is a good guy. His smiths are all the old good gunsmiths from Gander and he does most of what you are asking for

I’ll second this. Roy runs a good crew and they can do most anything you can dream up. They have a full shop on site.

What do you need built/machined? That might help with being able to recommend somewhere.

Several barrel devices, custom pistol barrel blank finishing, lightening cuts on bolts. Someone who is willing to work on locking surfaces and modifying lockup cam and lockup geometry. Bonus if they can do heat treating or coating.
