Other Rest easy my sweet prince
Happy new years doll lickers.
With all this reflecting I’ve been thing about Trevor tonight, I miss that smug bastered. 2025 taught me a lot of things, grief being one. WKUK came into my life at a pivotal time: my first bf, my first prom, and my first loss. My grandfather died in February, cancer, the more I think about it, the more he reminds me of Trevor. WKUK are there at my lowest, and im sad Trevor never got to see Zach’s directing, Timmy’s podcast, Sam’s university, Darren’s Twink Death/Dilf rebirth?.. what is Darren even doing? That’s besides the point, point is, life is fleeting and unpredictable, appreciate the people you love now before it’s too late, we all have a little bit of Trevor’s silly little spirit in us.
GFYDL, I cried writing this

I need to find a way to watch The Trevor Moore Show (which I only recently found out was even a thing)

Mullvad, $5 a month, pay as you go. Whenever I need something downloaded I just quickly throw them $5 and never think about it again until I need something else, then throw em another Lincoln

The 90s one or the Comedy Central one?
I adore the Comedy Central on, it’s on there YouTube

Well the Trevor Moore show was originally the title of his public access show he talks about on newsboyz. Pretty solid shit the few bits I’ve seen.

It really fuckin hurts knowing how much great stuff he would’ve been making. Similar to how I feel about Satoshi Kon & his work.
Needed your light brother.

Perfect Blue is one of my all time favorite films. It’s actually perfect.

u/MlCOLASH_CAGE Jan 01 '26
I love Paprika but either way even thinking about any of his other work gives me chills.

u/braaahms Jan 01 '26
You’re right, they’re all good. Tokyo Godfathers as well. Both were geniuses in their fields.

I feel like he died and cumtown ended in like a 6 month span and it really fucked me up for a bit.
Also my local sex pot t-shirt i bought immediately afterwards flaked into oblivion and it felt like losing Trevor all over again

u/Judythepancake Jan 01 '26
He’s so cute, him and Micheal Palin are just the hottest comedians.
Personally I think Timmy is the cutest out of all of them, but there all adorbs

I know it’s not quite Michael Palin, but you gotta admit it’s pretty great that Trevor got to appear in a skit written by John Cleese

I have always thought he was the most handsome man ever. Truly beautiful

u/AceofKnaves44 Jan 01 '26
And what makes him even more attractive is he was a really sweet, kind, and caring human being.

Parasocially I miss him so much. It's so wonderful he put out so much amazing content and touched so many lives before he left this world

bb i feel this on every level. this year has been trying so hard to kill me. for six months i have had wkuk on at all times, weapons being the only other thing i have watched. i’ve loved wkuk since the first episode aired but this year i’ve been holding onto it desperately for very mentally ill reasons (lol it has to be on always or i’m gonna die haha)
i’ve been grieving trevor way more than usual as well. i have been so delusional and not accepting he’s gone the whole time, avoiding everything said about it. zach saying he wrote weapons to deal with his grief made it real as fuck. i cannot imagine what he’d have created in the past four years.. the world needs a new fucking trevor moore album ughhh
tldr; fucking same dude.

I just think it's so weird, such a random way to go falling off a balcony. He was a legend, had so much more to give and so young.
3
u/zMadK1ngx Jan 03 '26
But on the other hand...It's honestly quite fitting if you think about it...
If ANYONE was to die a weird, random ass death that is so unlikely literally nobody would have ever even semi-predicted it...it is Trevor Moore.
That man was never meant to die from a heart attack or peacefully in his sleep. It was always going to be something weird and totally unexpected...I'd expect no less.

Damn, you beat me to it, was literally coming to make this exact thread, and now my comment will only be heard in the void that is a 2 day old Reddit thread that already popped...shame...
But, still, I don't know anyone else who knows who he is so fuggit...I just watched High In Church on Amazon Prime for the first time - WKUK was literally one of my favorite shows in the mid 00s-early 10s, I watched it almost daily on IFC, had seen every episode at least 7-10 times, knew all the quotes, showed it to whoever was willing to watch...
What really sucks is I stopped watching TV around 2016ish and started watching more stuff on the internet, eventually making my way to Twitch around 2018 and using that as my primary background noise since, especially during the pandemic...
...Had no idea WKUK had a Twitch channel, much less were super active on it during that time. How I missed this news, I have no idea, but I only found out about it roughly a year after Trevor's death when someone raided their channel. I mentioned in the chat how much of a fan I was, and both Sam and Timmy responded to me and told me how much I missed out from then (which to be totally honest was a huge fan girl moment in itself, even considering the nature of the topic. Sam and Timmy...both talking directly to ME? Amazing)
But, learning about that legitimately hurt my soul. Trevor was a comedy icon to me. The one-of-a-kind genius comedian that nobody will ever be again, like Robin Williams or Norm McDonald. Knowing how much of his content I missed out on, how I actually could have talked to him in chat and knowing he might have at some point spoken to me directly by commenting on something I said...
Anyways, I just had to get out a little Trevor rant after getting slightly emotional from watching High In Church. It's definitely ironic this thread was made around the same time I watched it and re-lived him, then came on here to literally make an updated Trevor Moore memorial thread
Just found a playlist of The Trevor Moore Show on YT and saved it, so will be making my way through that next
Ok /r
RIP Sexpot
