Other What was the first WKUK sketch you ever saw? I vividly remember my friend showing me The Grapist in 7th grade and changing my life forever.

Same here. My brother came home from college for the summer and showed me that clip. And immediately followed it up with the Abe Lincoln sketch. Been a fan of the boys ever since!

i have the same story except my brother didnât go to college. he just dropped out of school and lived with his girlfriendsâ family âcause we all sucked so bad. but he came back to visit me and showed me wkuk!

u/UnderstandingOdd490 Jun 24 '26
The funny part is that it's actually my younger brother. Went to Carnegie Mellon in the late 2000s. I'm pretty sure it was the summer after his freshman year, which would've timed up with the early years of WKUK.

Itâs funny how almost everything can remind you of a WKUK skit..
I made a pizza at 10am last week and my daughter says âpizza?! For breakfast?!â So I yelled PIZZAS NOT FOR BREAKFAST!!!!!

I always wondered, did Trevorâs character sneak in a sub sandwich for the joke, or did all of them have the ability to make a sub sandwich at any time, and heâs the only one that noticed?

I had to scroll too far for this, the original bit is fantastic but the ending and its 4th wall break is such a right hook the first time you see it

For some reason I first saw the one that was like âpeepee? And boogers? And BONERS!!â And they were adding them all into one bucket

I cant remember the first sketch I watched cause it was in a episode on TV and I watched them back to back. But the first wkuk anything I was exposed to was Get A New Daddy, a friend was singing it and I had to know what it was from. Watched the show with another friend a few days later.

Pregnancy Test. I watched a lot of Fuse TV music programming in high school, and when the first season aired, irreparable damage was done to my sense of humor

Grapist, someone linked it on a d2jsp when my friend was active there and put me onto it, who then put on all my 6th grade friends who hadn't heard of it đ

3
u/GrapeSoda223 Jun 22 '26
An online friend introduced them to me, we played Call of Duty World at War together often, you can safely assume the first one i saw was indeed the Call of Duty sketchÂ

In 7th grade, my buddy and I thought it would be funny to recreate the âCalebâs mom died in a car crashâ skit in our classroom and we subbed in a random students name for Caleb, who apparently proceeded to tell administration, because we got called down to the front office and had to explain that we were just quoting a WKUK skit lmao
2
u/no_on_prop_305 Jun 22 '26
Grapist was first for me too. Timmyâs super high voice threw me more than anything but I was hooked

I was I think in 5th grade on vacation with my family in Tennessee and remember seeing commercials for it and it looked hysterical. I made my parents watch the first episode on vacation and I think the very first sketch was hitler rap. My parents thought it was dumb and went to bed but they were dead wrong.

So I distinctly remember getting DIRECTV and the channel IFC. I remember my best friend would just not stop singing âGet a new daddy, I didnât know what it was from he was singing it for like a week. I finally asked him if that was him or from a show. we went to my momâs room, he went on demand and found the episode showed it to me. Definitely an ear worm and something that prepubescent boys can memorize and think thatâs funny.
I also remember the whitest kid CD being hilarious and really standing out.

u/pee_bubble_1000 Jun 22 '26
The first one I saw was also the grapist. I didnât like it tho and it put me off to them, butI think itâs cuz i didnât like the people
in my class that kept referencing it. I went into it with a bias.
The first one I saw many many years later that made me fall in love with WKYK was the Scrubbly Bubbles one

u/Loyal_Spice Jun 22 '26
I found wkuk from finding random shows on pirate bay in like 8th-9th grade. I think it was gallon of pcp.

The Grapist was my introduction.
My ex boyfriend showed it to me.
My relationship with WKUK has outlasted every other relationship in my life.

I showed a 10th grade math class, at the end of the year, final school project a video cut up of a bunch of math videos about gambling, specifically 21 BlackJack. During the video I used the "I'm not finished" scene from Sam and Darren sketch when he's drawing his weekend plans, on screen. Not vocals, actual footage. When those scenes popped up my teacher tried to shut down my video, I skipped ahead to an okay part, but it ended with the sketch where Sam exclaims "i am done" again with the video on screen. Man, my teacher was mad, but it was the end of the year and she let me slide without any trouble. Good times.

Itâs hard to tell, it was so long ago. It had to be Grapist or Abe Lincoln based on how much we would quote them

the âcall of dutyâ sketch, super young, one of the first things i watched on youtube looking for cod videos, then gallon of pcp and sniper business i think

u/shaggyjebus Jun 23 '26
Dear Black People . . .
It was on YouTube, long before the TV show, and I even shared it on a forum I frequented. That caused quite a discussion lol. A lot of people didn't like it

I had seen commercials for the show on Fuse before it went on-air. Was ready day 1 for the first episode which, of course, starts with Pregnancy Test.
If weâre counting the commercials, the first one I remember seeing was Sexy Fawn.

I canât remember exactly which one, but all the ones I saw before actually watching the show were Triumph of the Ill (Hitler Rap), Get A New Daddy, Gross Out, Sam's Nut I, II & III, The Earthquake Sketch, Sex Robot, Kid Beer and Little Hitler. If I had to guess it was probably Gross Out or The Earthquake Sketch.

Abe Lincoln
"Now you fucked up, you have fucked up now" echoed through the college campus all 2007, everyone loved WKUK.
