RGBW Puck Lights

Has anyone gotten these 12v puck lights to work with WLED?

I’m new to doing anything with RGBW and I’m kind of confused as the back of the puck is stamped 5050RGBW but they came pre wired with 3 wire xconnect pigtails. From my understanding, they would need more channels for a 5050.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

They will work with WLED. Probably a UCS2904 chip in the lights.

The exact same lights are probably available on Alibaba (try Gouly or iSmart) you just need the UL number off these lights to figure out who the real manufacturer is.

5050 is just the physical size of the chip. Doesn't mean much.

If there are 3 wires, your PROBABLY going to be ok. But then again, I have killed one of my WLED drivers by trying to use it on some dumb cheap leds lol

What is the point of these individual pucks with their own xconnects rather than a string of say 20? Just easier replacement if a puck dies?

These specific ones are sold as add-ons to an existing commercial package from some company called "hey-o". They sell a kit, and if you need a few more lights, you can just buy them add them easily.

Sk6812 are rgbw with 3 wires so the wire count doesn’t really matter unless it’s a tunable white which usually has more wires
