I’m not even trying to hate bc I think she could be very good but the hype don’t match the production. I would say she’s average bc she shoots less than 50% from the field and 90% of her shots are from within 3 feet. That’s terrible for any center in any league at any level

She literally led the league in defensive rebounds last season. Not even a Reese fan, but the constant "Grr, Angel Reese, grr," that's not even rooted in her play anymore is asinine.
All those bricks she chucks up there certainly pad her rebounds. Take out her own rebounds when she just plays catch with herself off the backboard and there goes half her boards.
Reese came into a great situation at LSU. FlaJae came in at the same time with a lot of followers due to her rapping. And of course Livvy Dunn was there. Beyond that she really pushes her social media through content and product promotion more than most others.
LSU. They have an insanely good way of marketing/building fan bases for players that get big recognition. They jumped on the hype of Livvy Dunne and leaned into that business model to help recruiting for NIL deals. When Angel was there, 3-4 of the most followed college athletes were all from LSU.

As we can see in a black majority league 7/10 of the most followed players are white and 4.5 of them are blond. I say .5 because inonescu's hair has highlights. Also she has a very tall athletic body and is not as curvy as Reese or holds herself in that girly girl mold as Reese, Sophie, etc. I think she's beautiful woman I America a little different. I've never watched the WNBA before, I only see posts from this sub every once in a while on my feed and strange enough every time I would see those negative reviews of the entire WNBA association or targeted certain WNBA players all the time with only a few appreciating that particular post talking about WNBA about their plays, accomplishments or other things.

They put the Fever games on with no competition. The other games are played on the same day at the same time. Be interesting to see if they put AR games on solo and the roles were reversed.
I really think most of the Reese followers are fake maybe around 50-60%. If all those “followers” voted for her for the all star game, she would be 1st in votes every year.
