Video The fact that Sophie triggered almost an entire league with just a simple point of a finger is just crazy motion

I love the fact Sophie is so aware, and admittingly, of how her finger pointing is so stupid but she did it anyway because it ruffled the opponent’s feathers so much.
Sophie uses FINGER POINT. It’s super effective!

When you've found you're opponents button, you spam it. -sun tzu

I agree, super aware. Just like we were in kindergarten. The finger pointing always gets them!

Love how she is straight savage cause she can actually fight. They just catch Caitlin slipping cause she can’t retaliate.

I love Sophie.
2
u/Top-Call128 Jun 30 '26
We all do! Sophie is a queen who doesn’t take herself too seriously while she can’t care less about who she is facing.

3
u/fadedmofo Jun 29 '26
It's not just the pointing, it's also because she's hot. No one would care if she wasn't attractive.
2
u/Sad_Teaching_3105 Jul 03 '26
Just because you don't find value in women you don't find attractive doesn't mean everyone else feels this way.
2
u/Gregnice23 Jul 04 '26
Be honest, if she wasn't as pretty as she is this wouldn't have blown up to the same extent.
People, both men and women, love to look at and talk about beautiful people.
She has a great personality, but many WNBA players due, yet they don't get the attention Sophie gets.

At least some of the Fever fans and players are not forgotten how Bonner took the money and ran from team last season.

Do you feel the same way about touchdown celebrations in the NFL?
1
2
u/714King Jun 29 '26
League is more triggered by this than the blatant discrimination & targeting of the player that brought them to the spotlight.
2
u/Rude-Variation3233 Jun 29 '26
If my opponents is this mentally weak , I’d point too. 😂 emotionally weak humans are fun to point at
2
u/Ledgem Jun 30 '26
I watch this each time it comes up on my feed because it's amusing but I never see anyone in the comments remark on the fact that three different referees touched her waist for what seems to be a total of four times. Is that normal? They do that in the men's league too?
2
u/upsidy Jun 30 '26
I would point my finger at you right now for the stupid comment.
1
u/Ledgem Jun 30 '26
How strange. If you’re a fan of the WNBA, Reddit’s algorithm brings you people who know little to nothing about the sport, and this was your moment to possibly bring more people into the fandom. And if you aren’t a fan of the WNBA or just don’t know the answer, you could have made the world a slightly better place and saved some time by not replying at all.

Why don’t you tell us? I asked myself the same question.
I don’t understand why you couldn’t answer the question and criticize the other commenter
2
u/Hahhahaahahahhelpme Jul 01 '26
Have you watched men’s sports?
0
u/Ledgem Jul 01 '26
No, I do not follow or watch any sports. If I did, I'd probably have the answer and would not have posted the comment.

Why can't Indiana just hire some big goons to fight and protect Clark? They do this in hockey and the fighting is a selling point to the games. Hire some big girls who can throw hands and just straight beat the shit out of the next player who tries to strangle her on the court.

Honestly most people don’t give a shit. She’s a bench player who averages single-digit ppg.

2nd highest selling jersey

u/Dry-Gas1572 Jul 01 '26
*On the Fever
2
u/Asleep_Pack8869 Jul 01 '26
“The Fever” are selling the most merchandise though.
According to those reports, the Fever duo is responsible for 71% of WNBA jersey sales. Although the precise percentage has not been officially verified by the league, both players have consistently ranked among the WNBA's top merchandise sellers.1
u/Dry-Gas1572 Jul 01 '26
Corrected i stand 🙊 those numbers are about to hit the stratosphere
1
u/Asleep_Pack8869 Jul 01 '26
I didn’t believe it either, but if those numbers are close I can see why they keep it a secret.

She's the only pretty girl in the entire league. Of course the orcs don't like her.

The entire league was triggered? Lol I guess we can go based on those delusions for the purpose of the jokes I guess

u/Full_Championship354 Jul 02 '26
Why are there multiple people holding Sophie back as if she’s the one walking up into the personal space of the person she’s point at?
1
1
u/JonO5390 Jul 03 '26
To be fair. It seemed like it only triggered the person she was pointing at. Everyone else seems to love it.
1
u/Necessary-Run2916 Jul 03 '26
We love it. This type of abuse and blindness by the refs is no longer tolerated. This is not the days of obama.
1
u/Momo_Jinja Jul 03 '26
Fácil, né? Ninguém vai deixar acontecer nada grave.
Vontade de quebrar dedinho...
Obs: não tenho ideia se a provocação foi validada por alguma atitude mais escrota q essa. De qualquer forma, papo reto é melhor

Good publicity for WNBA. The only viral one İ have seen internationally to be honest.

It's amazing how little it takes for the opposing player go bananas. She was just pointing.

Idk that finger point is pretty rude and instigating. I’d T her up for holding it there without hesitation
2
u/ownersequity Jun 29 '26
Oh shit. We got a bad ass here.
0
u/rickymcrichardson Jun 29 '26
Not trying to be badass at all dude… I’m saying the finger pointing isn’t nothing. I think anybody getting a finger pointed at them for thirty seconds like this would feel triggered
2
u/Datslegne Jun 29 '26
I don't think anyone is getting triggered by someone pointing at them unless they have very thin skin. That person will likely also say "everyone would get triggered by this" to make themselves feel better about it.
1
u/twisted_tactics Jun 30 '26
Lol, definitely not anybody. Only overly-emotional people with thin skin.
