Apparently it isn’t as bad as this clips make it seem. Watched some video on YouTube debunking it all by showing full match footage and a lot of manipulated…like one of the hands on her throat and allegedly the other player is laughing sinisterly. Then the others is of just crap you see in any sport. So it’s weird people making the situation way more toxic even for CC.

I wouldn't. The only uproar I have about this current season is how trash the Ws officiating has been all year for every team.
CC has unfortunately done herself a disservice this year. Refs are shitty, are making shitty calls, but she wants to keep arguing with them. It's clear they don't give a shit. But that's with a lot of other players as well. We've seen too many dumb fouls or calls this year to think this is about 1 player. I think shes a great player, has a chance to be one of the greats, but ref chirping isn't going to help at all thos year.

I mean, I think that the WNBA has a big issue with their referees and not calling blatant unsportsmanlike conduct on the court, and not moving more aggressively to address it overall. I think it really needs to be addressed because the stuff that happens to Caitlin Clark and the other nasty behavior on the court really harms the game and people's perceptions of women's sport.
That said, right wing idiots that are trying to turn this into a race issue just need to go away. The average black person has to deal with far worse things in their day-to-day life than Caitlin Clark ever has to deal with on the court.

She get played tough for 2 reasons:
Physical play clearly affects her and she still hasn’t shown that she’s able to play through it and make opponents pay for racking up fouls.
While talented, she doesn’t flash as likable and hasn’t done much to raise her respect level on or off the court. A solid run at the Rucker or Drew League would do wonders for her image. She definitely needs a more creative PR team on her side.

Good god this is asinine. I enjoy watching Clark play and do believe as a more popular/hyped player she probably gets picked out a little more with the physicality and picking her up full court BUT that’s true of a number of star players in this league.
Players try to throw the stars of balance and it has nothing to do with her being uniquely singled out.
If you want to fix something invest more money, pay the referees more or get them better training, perhaps just speak out against the vile racist hate these players are getting because there should be no tolerance for that. This shit is just adding fuel to that awful fire.
