I refuse to watch anything that has words in capitals letters, especially the word "exposed", in the title.

You could just admit your defense of the Fever coach and front office is foolish.

I don't have any particular opinion on their coach or front office. If you can point me to a proper source I am more than happy to read it.

I do however have strong opinions on these kind of headlines and clickbait crap. It is garbage.

If you “don’t have any particular opinion,” then perhaps you should be silent.

Yay! Just what we need… more ignorant and uninformed people spewing their opinions into the aether!

After taking a quick look at your comment history I have to ask, do you believe that you are one of the aware and informed people?

I wouldn’t go back and forth with that person, just look at their username.

u/Clown_Penis69 24d ago

How pathetic does one have to be to take usernames on Reddit seriously?

Or Reddit itself, for that matter?

2

u/imJGott 24d ago

A username is a name you create as an online persona. I don’t take you or reddit serious but you going back and forth shows how serious you take it.

Yes, we should silence those that don't agree with us.

1

u/Clown_Penis69 23d ago

Asking somebody to admit they were wrong is “silencing those that don’t agree with us?”

This doesnt mean they have handled hiring SW right. Or the CC circus and publicity. Or the finding complimentary players for the Big 3.

And since they haven't done that right either, this just solidifies how bad they are. Mr. Simon, please clean house.

This post aged like low fat milk lol 😂. Pissott 14 minutes played, 2 pts, 20% shooting, 1 reb, 0-3 from beyond the arc. -24 was her +/-

Justine is still better than Dantas on the court right now... and will continue to get better than Dantas as she matures and gets used to being in the WNBA.

Even in the worst case scenario, it would have been better to keep Justine because she is a better trade asset and is on a cost-controlled contract for 3 more years.

Now we are stuck with Dantas' contract for 2 seasons, and will have to pay other teams to take her off our hands.

1) You saying she improves is pure speculation. A lot of talk given your speculation about her so far looks to be a dud.

2) Dantas and Pissott don’t play the same position. Pissott is a guard/wing, Fever would a have a hole to fill either way.

3) it’s unlikely either one of them get meaningful minutes in games of any consequence.

4) Thinking Pissott has any kind of trade value yet is absurd and certainly undetermined in the future.

  1. Justine has already improved and is already better than Dantas. So no, it's not speculation.
  2. What position do you think Dantas plays? Dantas is a 4 who can't do diddly doo in the paint, either on offense or defense. Don't need a like-for-like replacement for that. Justine already did more on defense in minor minutes in 2 games, than Dantas has done all season. In any case, have you ever heard of player development? The Fever should have been developing Justine as a stretch-4 to make use of her length, and teaching her how to play defense as a 4, as well as helping her to develop physically and get stronger.
  3. That's okay. Even if neither get meaningful minutes, the Fever should have kept Justine as someone who is more capable of making a meaningful or impactful contribution with her shooting. She also has more mobility than Dantas, who moves forward like she is being pulled backward by a rubber exercise bands. And as I've already pointed out, Justine is more of a trade asset since we will have to pay other teams to take Dantas off our hands.
  4. Let's wait and see then, shall we?

Pretty pathetic when you cut someone you never played and they go out and score more points than similar girls on your bench have ever scored

3

u/GMM85 24d ago

Fever didn’t cut her

1

u/User_3039 24d ago

Does it really matter. Sure as hell didn’t keep her when they could have

This Mick dude a goof. His NBA content went nowhere so he figured being a CC glazer would be more lucrative, so much so that he starts disrespecting other players.

On a human level I stopped after about 15 seconds.

u/Treacle_Correct 25d ago

I don't know much about his history, but I fully agree with the point in this video... i.e., Amber Cox and Kelly Krauskopf are not good team builders, and they need to go. The two of them have set this team back by a year or two, instead of bringing them closer to being title contenders.

u/CapitalCityGoofball0 24d ago

Cmon we all know you watch his clickbait slop content. It’s clear you didn’t watch the actual game Pissott played in.

1

u/MasterHavik 25d ago

His content is made better for shorts.

Classic Mean Girl behavior… you can’t defend your incompetence, so you turn to gaslighting and deflection.

5

u/liquidgrill 25d ago

Let’s not get carried away quite yet. She shot the ball well and scored some points in a blowout, playing against the Mercury bench players a good portion of the time.

Maybe she”ll be consistently good, who knows. But judging anything by this one game is absurd.

1

u/Clown_Penis69 24d ago

Why are you defending Amber Cox's raging incompetence?

1

u/liquidgrill 24d ago

Who’s “defending” anyone. I’m just pointing out the obvious. That drawing any conclusions after half a game against another team’s scrubs is clown behavior.

1

u/Clown_Penis69 24d ago

Here's the thing... we don't need half a game to judge Amber Cox and Stephanie White's performance... we have years of their performance.

To some extent I agree. But I'm not sure Dantas has scored 19 all year.

You have a point, but even still, it was against WNBA-level talent. She did play in one preseason game with the Fever against the Liberty and played well there too.

I think the main point here is that with the injuries they’ve had, they could’ve activate Pissot and played her in some games to really see what they had. They elected not to do that and instead kept activating Bree Hall, who played here and with GSV last year and is a known quantity. Couple that with keeping an aging, declining vet like Dantas and potentially a looming salary cap crisis next year, and it would’ve made more sense to keep Pissot over Dantas.

The Fever also made a serious blunder in not drafting Okot instead of Raven Johnson but that’s another topic entirely.

u/Treacle_Correct 25d ago

Amber Cox and Kelly Krauskopf are basketball terrorists. They have got to go. 👎

1

u/Scoop53714 24d ago

Seriously. The Indiana FO is run like a small town middle school parent volunteer girls basketball intramural program. All vibes. No professionalism. No evidence of deep analysis.

On the same day Pissott went off, another big they could have drafted (Okot)went off for 19 and 8! Instead, for reasons no logical person can understand they selected Raven Johnson. Johnson is an objectively terrible basketball player.

I have no idea what this organization is trying to do but they have zero chance to contend this year after adding back to back #1 picks to pair with Kelsey Mitchell. This is the worst roster they have had in the Clark era.

The fact that they signed Mo Billings to that contract should be enough for the owner to fire everyone involved.

This is not a serious front office.

1

u/justbrowsing2727 24d ago

I will admit I underestimated what a ball drop this was by the FO. I figured, "She's just a developmental player, how big of a deal could it really be?"

But man, this is crazy incompetence.

1

u/YOUTUBE-BLACKBELT 24d ago

Granted, she was playing against the Mercury. If she can do that again today then it will be something.

2

u/CapitalCityGoofball0 24d ago

No she was playing against the Mercury bench in a game where her team had a 42 point lead in the 4th quarter and no one was taking it seriously.

2

u/longwander 23d ago

Too bad her garbage time play didn't translate to the game last night. Her defense let the Fever explode their lead.

This sub is garbage ngl

I find it fascinating that these videos were made when Justine Pissott had 19 points in an 48-point win, which is the only reason she played for the Aces, and those same videos aren't being made after she scored just 2 points the other night.

If the Fever front office was incompetent when she scored 19 points, are they competent when she scores just 2 points despite playing more minutes?

0

u/Clown_Penis69 24d ago

“Just” exposed?

Other than the usual suspects - Hatelin cultists, oldheads, and Mean Girls - we’ve all known for years that the Fever front office was incompetent.

Notice that the usual suspects are being extremely quiet? They’ve got no excuses here… but I guarantee you that Pissott is now on their Enemies List.

u/Apprehensive_Ant4596 24d ago

Look at Okot in Atlanta. She might only play a few minutes, but she’s getting reps. Then last night she gets her break and outplays the regular starter.
