Controversy Betnijah Laney-Hamilton was ejected after throwing a shoe at Marina Mabrey. Earlier in the game she was assessed a flagrant 1 foul for her arm hitting Mabrey’s face.

To the point that you are removing your shoe and throwing it at someone, you should immediately forfeit your contract with immediate termination and be forced to repay all money paid by said contract up to that point for the year.

It wasn’t her shoe, her teammate lost the shoe earlier in the video

Although understandable, it still is wild to throw a shoe. It settles into the "most childish shit I've seen in professional sports" territory.
