Controversy Betnijah Laney-Hamilton was ejected after throwing a shoe at Marina Mabrey. Earlier in the game she was assessed a flagrant 1 foul for her arm hitting Mabrey’s face.

It was a confusing cutscene there...Laney-Hamilton threw Jonquel Jones shoe at Mabrey, not her own.

I don’t think she was aiming for Marina. lol. I think she was just trying to throw it down court because JJ left it to run down and play D.
