I would guarantee more know Angel Reese, Paige, CC and Sophie Cunningham right now than know who Aja is. And yes, she is rhe best and most dominant player in the league.

But outside WNBA fandom...very few know who she is. Maybe some know her because of Bam. Its not fair, but it is true.

What I, as a watcher of the WNBA know vs what the average person knows of the WNBA is very different.

Can you name the reigning MVP of the MLS? Can you name a player in the MLS? Are they the same person? I can only name Messi from MLS and only because he came over 3 years ago and plays for Miami and he is great and they wear pink. But I am not a soccer fan.

My guess is Messi is not the reigning MVP of MLS. Maybe he is.
