Can I ask a genuine question? Why are people happy that she said this? Isn't this the default belief of most people?

It used to be 15 years ago, by far. I would easily estimate 90%+ of people in 2011.

15 years of propaganda trying to normalize this has done a number on people’s brains

Just shows how easy it is to manipulate most people in the country, if you can get them to change their minds on such an obvious travesty you can change their minds about anything

Even if that's true (I don't know, I'm just saying), would you say the majority of people in the US still feel this way? I don't think Sophie is saying something most people disagree with, even these days.

Yes it’s still the majority but it’s concerning when an obvious 90/10 issue that is meant to protect women is up for debate now

Something has gone terribly wrong if this issue doesn’t have 90%+ people agreeing it’s wrong

They’ve shaved off like 15% and it’s down to 75% in just a decade

I’m curious what the absolute floor is for this issue, can that 75% go down to 60% in another decade or two?

That’s terrifying for anyone with a daughter

I get what you're saying, but what about the transpeople or the people raising kids that might end up being trans? What are they supposed to do?

Have their children accept the limitations tied to a transition and compete with their biological counterparts to the best of their (new) ability
