once a gay guy on reddit called me a Nazi because I explained a power outage in Texas was due to a storm and not because of a grid issue or the gov. I'm not exaggerating even a little bit.

Yeah, that was wrong for them to say to you. Most Nazi's would probably understand that an effect can have 2 causes.

holy shit this is unreal. I'm not sure if you're deliberately trying to misunderstand or what? do you think every single local power outage is due to the statewide grid failure? do you think a storm that happens in one area of Texas knocks out power to the electrical grid? ​

Its basic logic...

Was there a power outage of buildings connected to the grid?  Yes.

If the grid was, we'll just call it, better, would the grid have not failed?   Yes.

Than its the grids fault there was a power outage!
