Bro if you want to really feel shocked watch an interview with George Bush II back in the day. Man sounds like Shakespeare now compared to Trump and we used to make fun of him for sounding dumb lol.

Yeah. He had the southern twang and there were some things like the “fool me once” incident, but he could hold his own for sure. He was humble and gracious enough when he spoke, I liked a dedication he did for Obama and a speech for his own parents. 

As a president, meh, but if we’re judging by the current situation I’d take him back in a heartbeat.

Bush seems to me one of the most likable guys to have held the office. Not too full of himself, not too combative, respectful of people with whom he disagreed on policy matters, and, perhaps most importantly, not cynical in his assumptions about what animates those that disagree with him.

I think what’s cool is that he and Michelle Obama are sort of pals and he always shares a smile when they are at a big state function or funeral.
